Chosen Solution Hello, I currently own the seagate 1Tb backup slim plus. Recently, I was was working on revit and I moved my laptop just a little bit and because of that my disk was ejected. I got the usual prompt saying my disk was not ejected properly and said ok. However as I plugged it back in, the drive is not being recognized by my laptop (Mac). The disk is also making frequent high pitched sounds that occur I would say every 7 seconds....

Chosen Solution Hello there guys, So I’ve recently baked my GPU and it works like a charm, but during the process I accidentally ripped my GPU thermal sensor cable. I’ve plugged loose sensor cable back to the board, but it is not attached to my GPU. Now ever since my CPU fan is running at full speed but fan control software shows my CPU fan running at 0 rpm without any option to control it (I can control ODD and HDD fans though)....

Chosen Solution I’ve noticed dark patches appearing on the screen, mainly around the border. They stick out especially if there is a lighter colour on display. They’re there all the time and now that I can see them I can’t focus on anything else. Please help. Chosen Solution I have an Inspiron 15R and my battery is not charging. I have the genuine Windows 7 that came pre-installed and Windows, the battery icon in the task bar, reports a constant battery level of 62% (plugged in, charging.) The adapter is the original that came with the laptop and when I remove it, the laptop looses power and it simply dies. I have run a diagnostic from the BIOS and it says that the battery is working fine, but even with the adapter plugged in it reported an idle state....

Chosen Solution Frigidaire Ultra Quiet Plus Installed under counter. Close the door, select cycle, cycle light is on. Time remaining reads properly. Start/cancel button does nothing. Trying to push it until display times out and goes blank. Open the door and pull the machine an inch or so out, then select cycle, cycle light works, time remaining is correct and start/cancel button works. Push it back in and start/cancel doesn’t work again....

Chosen Solution I am trying to replace individual keys for my Macbook Pro A1502 (Early 2015). I could buy individual keys from eBay. As I have couple MacBooks and a MacBook Air that also use the same key type (AC07), I want to buy the iFixit keyboard (Item code: IF123-120-1) to replace the keys or hinges. I would like to know whether the iFixit keyboard is of the same key type and I can snap the keys into the original keyboard hinges....

Chosen Solution Water continues to drip into the wash barrel even when the machine has finished its cycle and is off. Hi @rambo1 , Sounds like a leaking water inlet solenoid. Close off either the hot or cold water tap that the machine connects to and see if the drips continue. If it is not the hot, try the cold This will tell you which solenoid is the one with the problem....

Chosen Solution My galaxy tab fell onto a weight from the couch. The drop caused a dint on the back of the tablet and when I turn it on, there are colorful lines up the screen where it hit the weight. The screen is not cracked. Can this be fixed? Nesia, it would be easier if you would post an image with your question. Right now, from what you describe, it sounds like you have a broken LCD....

Chosen Solution My Philips hts3544 receiver recently started going haywire and switching to mode after mode but the speakers worked fine. Is it possible to use the speakers from it on a different receiver that doesn’t use the easy fit connectors by removing them from the speaker ends? Or will this just ruin the speakers? Any help is appreciated. Yes you can, as the speakers are analog. You should be able to cut the connectors off and use them on any amp or receiver....

Chosen Solution I keep getting error code 80 when I try to turn on my EOS 60D. I tried taking out and putting the battery back in, but it does not help. Is this something I can fix? If I take it in to the store, will it cost a bundle? @rodbruin Err 80 - Malfunctions related to the electric control or images have been detected. This could be related to something not allowing the memory card to be read on the camera....

Chosen Solution I have an HP PRINTER all in one. It was working perfectly fine yesterday. Today it is telling me I have a paper jam. I went through the steps it told me to take 3 times. There is no paper jammed anywhere! Each time I finish the steps and turn it back on, it makes a grinding sound, then I get the same paper jam error message. I need some helpful advice if anyone has seen this before, please tell me what I should do....

Chosen Solution -edited to add pictures- My macbook air fell off the roof of my car. It was in a soft case and suffered some minor denting around the power connector. At that point it would still power on, but only with a cord connected, not on battery alone, and would not charge the battery. It also performed all tasks incredibly slowly. I managed to transfer everything I needed onto an external drive and left it as is....

Chosen Solution The built-in flash on my digital Canon Rebel XT (a.k.a. 350D) will not pop up. The camera body clicks whenever it tries to activate the flash, and pressing the manual flash release button doesn’t work either. It displays an “Error 05” message, meaning something is preventing the flash from opening, but there is no apparent obstruction, and gently pressing or wiggling the flash assembly will not release it. How can I release it and correct whatever is causing it to stay closed?...

Chosen Solution The hinge on the left side of these headphones is broken where the screw threads in and holds the two parts of the hinge together. The photos show the bottom part of the hinge still attached to the headphones with the broken plastic around the screw thread. The separate piece is the top part of the hinge that fell off when the part broke but can be re-attached with screws if the bottom part isn’t broken....

Chosen Solution My dryer starts quiet and normal and drys clothes fine. However, after only a few minutes of being on, it starts humming loudly. I have taken everything apart and cleaned thoroughly including blower fan, motor, and exhaust. Any and all lint and debris has been cleaned. I’ve inspected rollers and all the other aspects of the dryer that the internet tells me is the cause to a noisy dryer....

Chosen Solution I have 3 iPad Mini 1st gens with the same issue: The front facing camera is not working. I replaced the cameras and still had the same issues. Restored them to stock, same issues. Hard reset, same issues. Has anyone ran into this before? I can’t for the life of me figure out what the issue is. I checked everything out under the scope and the connectors are undamaged....

Chosen Solution I have a 3 year old GE profile refrigerator model cye22tshsss. Noticed the water and ice dispenser were not working, then opened the fridge to find interior light did not go on and it was not as cool as it should be. Unplugged fridge, waited 5 minutes, plugged back in, and fan/cooler is working and interior light goes on. Ice and water dispenser still don’t work. 30 minutes later fridge turns off again, so I un plug and replug it and everything works…....
