Turn the TV to a program that has sound. Then, in a darkened room, shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out shapes or silhouettes etc....

Chosen Solution So I recently picked up a PS4 with a faulty disc drive to see if i could fix it, and the problem is I can’t find what’s causing the problem with the disc drive. Essentially, it will not pull in discs, or eject them. Using the manual eject screw, I can move the disc in or out, and if I put the disc in, then turn the PS4 on, it will read the disc just fine....
Chosen Solution I use my Display as second monitor for my iMac, was working and display just shut down, but programs working on the display are not transfer to iMac screen until I; either disconnect the Thunderbolt cable or disconnect power from display, think that means cables and power are working. What can I try to solve this and get display back to work?? You can test if the cable has gone bad by using another Thunderbolt cable....

I would open it to the best of your ability and let it dry out, don’t plug it in, as this may cause it to short. Just open it, get the components separated and let it air dry for days....

The screen is black, but the backlights and audio are working fine. I have done the flashlight test and the backlights are fine. I have already replaced the Tcon board and the main board with replacements from eBay but have no idea how to test them to see if the new boards are even functional as they have not solved the problem....

There was a big leak that was spewing water “Conveniently” right into the back. The board has massive spots of blue everywhere. Need to get this system running asap. I check the power supply output voltage and it is 14.8 V on four pins and 0V on four pins and one goes from 0.9 to 2.6V when the fan spinnes....

Of course you can always add one in your water line in at the back of the unit if you wish but my experience is if you are getting gunk in your ice you have a worn out mold/heater lining that has delaminated it’s anti stick coating and it is time for a new mold or complete icemaker....
