Chosen Solution Hi, got a salvaged Tab 3 with a damaged board connector on the display logic board. see photos. has anybody some experience with repairing this. unfortunately i have just some basic soldering skills and not really used a rework station before. @shrubbery if you have not had a chance to practice some microsoldering, I suggest that you do not try to replace it. It’s a bit of a PITA to solder and will require the right tools and experience to be successfully repaired....

Chosen Solution Replaced battery a while back now, realised after it shuts down automatically once it gets to 1-2% charge, usually when i go to turn it back on without chargin, It shows a ‘plug charge cable in’ screen when you try and turn the phone back on, where as now it tries to boot again with the white apple logo screen.. gets about 10 seconds in showing the white screen on, and turns off again....

Chosen Solution I decided to open up my original DS so I could clean some dust. After cleaning the dust from inside my DS, I tried to power it on but the green light momentarily powered on for a split second along with the bottom display. I then took it apart again to make sure I plugged in every ribbon cable but when I put it all together and plugged it in, there was absolutely nothing except the speaker pop when you press the power button....

Chosen Solution My Epson L210 is printing with a loud clicking sound and takes too long to respond to a command. It has become very slow and sometimes just stops printing, if i put it aside and give it a week or two it starts printing again but the clicking persists. Please help Try to soft reset your Epsion printer by disconnecting all the cables and press and holding power button for 60 seconds Now connect the printer and check if it started printing....

Chosen Solution My fans on my macbook air won’t stop turning. They have not switched off unless I shut down the laptop or closed it. Its not over heating, the CPU is 0% and I have tried everything and nothing is working!! The temperature sensor may be faulty ? Chosen Solution Hi, I left my macbook air in my desk and when I returned, I couldn’t use the trackpad and keyboard anymore. Since it was left untouched, there was no mecanical trauma (I live alone). Simply no response from keyboard and trackpad, but USB external ones, work. I did the apple hardware test and I got 4MOT/4/40000002 Exhaust-0 I searched for this error and apparently it indicates problems with the fan....

Chosen Solution We have a 960 LED icicle light string, one section does not light up. I have tested the light string with a no contact voltage detector, all of the wires and bulbs in the section that doesn’t light up show live voltage. The section goes from 2 wires to 3 wires and then back to 2 wires. All the 3 wires in the faulty section show live voltage, as do all the bulbs....

I would just order a new one, but am unable to find the part so I was going to epoxy it, but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. Instead, they rely solely on the “sock” filter that is attached to the pickup tube in the tank....

Chosen Solution Just started repairing phones and I was wondering what can I do to prevent glass from broken screens getting into my fingers. Chosen Solution I had a friend look at a phone that was stuck in a boot loop. The boot loop lasted for about 5 months? After he fixed it (he said all he did was mess with iTunes until it finally started), there was a Caution triangle to the left of the “No Service” in the left. Chosen Solution Our zebra striped Furby 2012 had a hard fall and became “narcoleptic”. Waking up, no movement, half opened lit eyes, talking a little and just shutting off within half a minute. Following other posts, I opened the Furby, was able to remove the 6V DC motor and test drive it and see it was no longer functioning. Ordered a new motor on Ebay, got it installed and now…. what?...

Hi Mal: If the pin inside the (female) charging port is broken (that is, the charging port on the mainboard), there is not much you can do except of replacing it. After installing Macs Fan Control 1.4.11 I’ve realised that the DIMM 3,4 Proximity sensor is showing more than 85º C or more always. Even after a new boot upt. Chosen Solution Whirlpool WDT970SAHZ Just had a whirlpool dishwasher installed (this is the second in two weeks), once installed and connected to power the lights will switch on for a few seconds then switch off. Opening the door to reveal the buttons switches the lights off also. The buttons remain unresponsive and cause no reaction. Chosen Solution Can I downgrade screen from 5k to 2k? Does 27" iMac late 2012-2013 screen fits to 27" imac 2014-2017? Who would you want to downgrade? The 5k is better than the 2k. And knowing apple (although im probably wrong and someone will correct me) they probably changed the connector. And since the screen is from 2k to 5k im sure there are differences not just in the connector but how it is wired up....
