Chosen Solution I use an Instax Mini 70. My film counter doesn’t display the whole number. It gets difficult to read the number and figure out how many films are left. I changed the batteries as well. The problem still persists. Please let me know if there is a solution to this problem. Chosen Solution I replaced the screen and frame on my phone myself. After reassembling (with some mosifications) some things have been having issues. The fingerprint scanner is giving the error message that it is wet. The charging port (also a replaced part) hasn’t been functioning. The sim card tray isn’t registering the sim card i put in it. Is there a way to fix these issues? This is the best pic i have a the moment....
Chosen Solution Recently did a screen replacement on an iPad Air 2, transferred the customers TouchID button and it functions as a button.. but the Fingerprint scanner function no longer works. No damage is visible, reseated connector, options in the simply say setup failed… Don’t see any components missing or anything, just a simple single plugin for the Touch ID button. Any clues? Just did a iPad Air 2 yesterday and didn’t have any problems....
Chosen Solution Can I replace my APU or the CPU also the Southbridge chip can that be replaced with the new one or are they connected to the motherboard “married”? I don’t think anyone has tried this AFAIK because there is really no incentive in doing so when weighed against buying another console second hand or new. The tools, experience and time to get or have this done would far outweigh the above....
Chosen Solution Hello there, I own a Neo Geo Pad USB for PS3 and said pad is based off of the Neo Geo AES Pads. However, the micro switch pad tends to stop sending input in certain directions. If it is possible, Could you repair the Neo Geo Pad USB and all SNK Neo Geo pads in general? I’m willing to pay like 30 to 50 dollars for the repair services of said controllers....
Chosen Solution Hello Everyone, I am facing an issue while connecting my iPhone 7 to MacBook air. It connects and disconnects rapidly. I have tried resetting the PRAM which did nothing, Then I reset the SMC after which I could connect my phone for maybe 2 mins before the problem reappeared. I’ve got High Sierra on the mac and iOS 11.3 on my phone. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated....
Chosen Solution I cannot link my tablet to a Roku device… My Roku device has screen mirroring and it has been activated… My new Viking Pro tablet recognizes the device but will not show my tablet screen on either of my televisions with the same Roku stick… My internet shows the same connection on tablet and Roku device… I tried the screen mirroring 5 days ago and I was able to mirror just fine, but today, neither tv will show my tablet screen… HELP Kathryn in New Mexico kathrynking1155@gmail....
Chosen Solution I changed the battery successful from one that was not functioning to one that is really great and performs well. However, the battery is not charging at all. The Chromebook will retain the 60% of power that came with the new battery; it will use the power adapter as a source when the latter is plugged in.. But the battery itself won’t increase from 60%. It will just drain when not plugged in, but not charge....
Chosen Solution the charging pins corroded, on both the device and the charging base are they replaceable? @waltwlms they might be replaceable but are definitely not readily available. I would start by cleaning those with some distilled water/vinegar 50/50 mix and a couple of cotton swabs. Since those contacts are most likely nickel plated, the corrosion destroyed teh nickel plating. It is most certainly tedious since there is not a lot of room....
Chosen Solution Sir, I have tried to download and created new usb with chrome recovery but as soon as it boots with usb the screen goes blank and stuck. I tried to got to recovery option then pressed ctrl+D then again it goes to “chrome os missing or damaged”. The error code when simple pressing tab key “ 0X05 tpm read only” After recovery buttons pressed it shows “ 0X02 recovery button pressed” But in both the scenario screen goes to “chrome os missing or damaged” Also opened whole laptop back removed battery replugged it but still the same....
Chosen Solution Found my old iPod classic 160 GB model from 2007 that stopped working years ago. I am able to get it to boot to the Apple logo before it shows the Red X. I have tried putting it in disk mode and it will not work. It goes to the Red X screen again. My computer does not recognize when the iPod is connected to it. I am able to get it into diagnostic mode....
Chosen Solution I have a mid-2010 13” unibody that has had a dim green light problem for awhile but still charged the battery after a long time plugged in, and then ran normally. A few months ago the battery was getting frustratingly old so I replaced it. Dim light/slow charge problem remained, but it worked. A couple of weeks later it failed to boot after battery was left to completely discharge....
Chosen Solution Well,. i recently changed my hhd for an ssd, and i am pretty sure that the display assembly was never touched because i was there during the whole process… but right now there is a stain in my display… Any suggestions? This looks like one of three things : Assuming that the display is lit with LED’s, it looks like one or a couple LED’s burned out.It could be a locked or stuck pixel , to which I would use UDPixel to run the undead pixel dot at a space of 5x5 and move the flashing dot where the spot is for a few minutes....
Chosen Solution Our iPad 5 had broken glass but worked fine before the repair. After replacing the battery, and home button assembly, it turns on/off every 5 seconds and the display is only colored lines and bands. Any ideas? Make sure you disconnect the battery before you do anything. Get a magnifying glass and check the connections and make sure the pins aren’t bent if they are ok clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush....
Chosen Solution So I pulled my laptop and cleaned it. I started examining it, then I realized I didn’t see were the Cmos was located, so I decide to research if anyone tried to replace there Cmos battery with the exact laptop on the internet cause I don’t wanna end up unscrewing the MOBO and checking the back of it just to see it doesn’t come with my brand. @kingstonja14 take a look at this video Your ROG Zephyrus S does not seem to have a dedicated CMOS battery....
Chosen Solution Probably a stupid question, but, does the 8 Plus need absolutely everything connected to the board for it to boot up? I know some earlier models don’t. Otherwise, is there any other parts I could replace other than screen and battery, to try get it to turn on? Also, with the home buttons, what is it that pairs them with the motherboards? I have the original button, with no flex cables....
Chosen Solution I’m seeing where after repairs the truetone functionality is gone unless the firmware is flashed over on the iphone x and up models. is this the same for 3rd gen Ipad pro, also are there any other complications with switching logic boards other than the married camera flex cable? I would imagine it requires the same thing as the iPhones. You would have to purchase something like the JC V1 and flash the old screen’s information over to the new one....
Chosen Solution Drivers side windshield wiper broke after trying to clear too much snow off of my windshield, the passenger works just fine. When I turn it on drivers side wiper moves slightly but not properly. Can I fix this myself? A wiper arm is replaceable. Usually the hub that sticks up and drives the blade is metal, but the insert it fits into on the wiper arm is hard plastic....

Chosen Solution I have inherited a faulty PS4 for free as my friend said it was “mildly broken” after he opened it up to clean it and put it back together. The issues are : disk drive doesn’t take disks, the disc won’t go in, I have opened up PS4 and no immediate problems or blockages that I can seeI get error su-42118-6 when I try and update the PS4. I have tried to install the file from USB in Safe Mode and get same issue....
