Chosen Solution Replaced screen using custom adhesive strips & heating pad… pops loose. Bought second set of strips & tried again… still pops loose in the middle of two edges. First things first, make sure the aluminum chassis is straight and not bent. Buy a roll of Tesa 61935 adhesive from reputable vendors like iFixit, this tape is far better than 3M or ”red tape”. Tesa 61395 Tape Agree with @ samy , as well before applying new strip, clean frame with ipa to remove any skin oils or adhesive leftovers....

Chosen Solution After a seemingly successful glass repair on my S3 I now have pink lines running across the screen at times. When I pull down the app drawer all the font is pink. Chosen Solution I’m having problems with the dedicated GPU on my Macbook Pro 15inch which whereby I’m not able to boot beyond the Apple logo into the Mac OS screen(having distorted screen as well). Fortunately, after I followed the dosdude guide about gpudisable on dosdude.com/gpudisable, I am able to configure my Macbook to use the Intel GPU. I tried connecting it to an external display but failed to detect any signal, I assume this is normal since the dedicated GPU is faulty....

Chosen Solution I didnt use enough heat to get the ambient sensor off and it separated. I am getting the message that says Face ID cant activate, so I’m not sure if that’s because of my installation is not right, or if its indeed because of the ambient sensor? Can this even be repaired? Chosen Solution iPhone 5 was dropped from a height of just less than 3 ft, while in a supposedly shockproof case. It had been turned on and at least mostly charged. Now the screen will not turn on. When I plug the phone into the charger, the apple logo comes on and off for a few seconds repeatedly. This loop never ends no matter how long I leave it plugged into the charger....

Then I realized I forgot to put that backplate in. So I opened it up, installed it, booted up the phone…and I had lines on the screen. Okay. I opened up the phone again, reattach the cables....

Chosen Solution Forgot supervisor BIOS password on Aspire E 15 E5-573 39K5 (manufacture date Aug, 15 2015). I did set the PW, successfully accessed all BIOS functions yesterday, changed the PW and must have mistyped. Am able to login to BIOS using User PW where it only allows changing the date/time. I forgot/mistyped the HDD PW too and it says “Frozen” in the User BIOS screen. Only answers I’ve found yet get past User PW by entering code displayed after enter wrong User PW three times....
