Chosen Solution Hello again. I swapped out my loudspeaker, and all I’m getting is crackling / electrical noises. I checked the spring contacts touching the loudspeaker and they are not the problem. I’m assuming that either a) The replacement speaker is defective or b) Something else is causing the audio issue. Any idea what other components (aside from the motherboard) I can try swapping out to fix the audio issue? The daughterboard doesn’t seem to have any sound-related ICs on it....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I ordered a replacement battery from Ifixit 3 days ago and just received it. Well unfortunately when I opened the package it’s evident the battery has a dent in one of it’s corners. Now I’m not very familiar with lithium ion batteries and all the searching I’ve done people either say it’s fine as long as it’s not punctured while others say it’s better to play it safe than sorry....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to separate the LCD from the digitizer on a Surface Pro 4 tablet so I can just replace the glass, or does the LCD need to be replaced as well? Hey Jay, It appears as though it is possible, though it is not feasible. You would have to buy re-laminating/refurbishing equipment (expensive!). This is due to the fact that the digitizer is secured to the lcd with a film adhesive that is difficult to remove....

Chosen Solution Dishwasher stops draining at end of cycle. i press ‘cancel’ & it drains completely. Other Issues: foul smell from disposal even immediately after cleaning. same sludgy pipe smell in dishwasher. I have: Checked/cleared all hoses running from dishwasher, disposal & air gap.- 2) Checked/cleared filter, chopper assembly, drain hose/pump connection. 3)-Snaked pipe going out from wall. Hi sounds like you have a dead short! or likely a blown capacitor. check the plug ..if its not the plug. you need to get someone who can open it up the micro and check the main leads to the power input....

Chosen Solution Long story short the earpiece speaker is not working but the front camera and speakerphone are. Have tried swapping cables and swapping speakers and still doesn’t work. More details: About a year ago I dropped my phone and the glass cracked. I ordered a whole new front screen assembly. Swapped it out and worked great, no issues. I ordered it from Etradesupply and was supposed to be all genuine parts with Apple logo etc....

Chosen Solution Press the gas pedal to the floor and cart goes full speed then quickly drops down to half speed even with pedal down. Checked batteries, cables, and connections. Electric vehicles use a motor speed controller. Probably, either the sensor connected to the pedal is bad or the speed controller. The controller is likely to be in a metal box with cables connected and should not be hard to locate if you can find a replacement....

Chosen Solution My roku tv turned off out of the blue. Not even a year old yet. I have no idea what happened. Every time I plug it in it just buzzes. I have no idea how to fix this. If anyone can help me I’d really appreciate it. @smoore98 the buzzing makes me think that this is a power board issue. Remove the back from your TV (unplug it) and take a look at the boards....

I successfully replaced my phone’s battery with a 2225 mAh NOHON and everything went great, however, my 3d touch was buggy on the iphone’s left side - where the battery is located. So this new battery’s pushing against the digitizer (cool). I swap it out with an Apple OEM iphone 6s battery....

It work like new for a couple of weeks now I got the YLOD again. Did I do something wrong?
