Chosen Solution So a few days ago I dropped my phone and the screen popped out of the iphone mainframe, I popped it back in but now the screen wont work and I can press down the phone like its still not in properly. Siri still works and I can hear things but when I tried to hard boot it, it stopped responding completely. What do I do? Chosen Solution Hi, my Samsung is in endless restart loop. I tried everything but factory reset. So is there any way to pull out my files while the device is in this mode? I’m not sure if this will be helpful or not, but I believe the is a “safe boot” option available, similar to a PC, from the Reset menu screen. I seem to recall seeing something about that on the XDA-Developers website....

Chosen Solution The external hard drive for my Xbox one keeps disconnecting randomly. I’ve tried a new cable to no avail. Hoping someone else has some ideas. If you try mounting the External drive on a pc does it still keep disconnecting. this will help you determine whether the issue is with the XBOX or the External Hard drive.

Chosen Solution My problem: 2-3 stripes of the screen do not pick up touch input. Not only that, but they also freak out and receive phantom inputs, making it impossible to work with the thing without disabling the touchscreen. Apparently, some part associated with the touch input is broken. But which one is it? I could either replace the screen, together with the digitizer (Microsoft Surface RT (1st Gen) Screen), or I could replace what is called the Digitizer Board....

Chosen Solution My poor old Honda destroyed my phone… Same charger and adapter I always use in my car, plugged in my phone and drove about 3 miles. When I grabbed my phone to unplug it, it was so hot it literally gave me a burn. The cord was hot both on my phone and in the car’s charging port, and the phone itself was hot just around the charging port....

I replaced the glass/digitizer and LCD on my ASUS MEMOpad FHD 10 and now it is detecting false touches in somewhat specific areas of the screen if I press too hard. I should have just purchased the glass/LCD assembly together, but my original plan was to carefully separate the bad cracked glass/digitizer from the good LCD, but I accidentally cracked the LCD because I performed the process incorrectly in some areas....

Chosen Solution I have a replacement LCD/digitizer/screen assembly for my Oneplus X, but it has come with no adhesive. There is no adhesive left on the phone. I haven’t been able to find an adhesive “template” for the phone, so as a result I’ve been reading about various glues… and I’m now, “stuck,” pardon the pun. Conversations about glue leaking between LCD and glass, and all sorts of other horrors. No firm idea how to go forward....

I have been trying to repair an iPhone 5, and have gotten it almost fully working. The issue is, the phone shows a cellular connection (ATT), but calls and data only work for a short period of time, then I get the call failed error even though the phone still shows a good connection....

Chosen Solution I have everything working except for cellular signal keeps dropping. Verified (with 3GS iPhone side by side) that the cellular reception is not the issue in the area. I’m basically using the phone on wifi without any issues. What antenna? The Wi-Fi is working fine. And, the cellular connection is good for a few hours, where eventually, I cannot get service.

Chosen Solution I just bought a Late 2015 27” iMac with the A1419 Retina 5K Display, and managed to crack the glass on the display in less than a month. (Grrrr) The display stills works fine. I’ve researched what the replacement display screen should be, but it seems there are two EMC numbers for the A1419 display…. one is EMC 2806, the other EMC 2834. What’s the difference between them? Based on my serial number, my machine has the EMC 2834....

Chosen Solution even though this question is a number of years old… my laptop now has the same issue. the screen has developed crazy vertical lines, and the blinking, changing xmas colors, and if heading toward black. also, developed an interesting “ooze” happening at the base of the screen. and no, i have NOT spilled anything on the laptop, thank you very much! using a secondary monitor as the main monitor at this point…....
