Said PSU is about 5years old, and thanks to MS patch tuesday forcing a reboot of the computer, it then failed to start, the case power LED blinks once, whilst the internal fans spin for about half a second, then a faint click, and it goes dead....
Chosen Solution my daughters ipad screen is cracked at the top with the display still being normal. however the screen is only responsive at the bottom. does this mean that the lcd is in need of replacement and if so, how much should it cost to repair? The only thing that is needed is a Digitizer replacement. This is what is associated with touch functionality.

Chosen Solution I was just tearing down this old HP printer because i got a new better one, and I came across something strange. It looks like a piece of metal with a slit cut into it for the wire. This wire wen’t to the display panel/buttons. And on a note, this object was slightly ferrous. It was weak though. Hi @parzival , Just guessing, but since the cable seems to be passing through it it may be a type of ferrite choke designed to filter the EMI effects on the wires going to the display panel....
Chosen Solution I sat on my tv and now da screen has a black spot and showing rainbow colored vertical lines deandre hannon going by your description alone, you do have a cracked LCD. There is no repair for it. The only thing you can do is to replace the LCD, if you can find one. Those are hard to come by and expensive to purchase. You may want to consider adding some images of what your screen looks like, with your question....

Chosen Solution i did a software update now my device is stuck on installing system update standing still on a 100 persent pls people what can i do ‘Have you tried turning it off and on again?’ You can unplug the device from the charger and see if it finishes rebooting post-update by itself. If it doesn’t and turns off, just plug it back in, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on again....

Chosen Solution Some liquid spilled in onto the switch, which afterwards someone tried to turn on. Ive taken it apart a bit to clean residual liquid, but it seems like some components are fried. Its located under/near the left speaker housing, and where it says Side-B UM. Take a second tighter picture of the area so we can see the markings. If the markings are not readable then its not likely we can offer a solution. You may need to get a second SSD of the exact same model and size to steal the part from if you are trying to salvage the data thats on it....
Chosen Solution As most of us know, any Apple device with Face I.D. functionality has that functionality linked to the front camera assembly and the proximity sensor flex cable. In past generations, damaging the proximity sensor flex was relatively easy to do on accident, and rendered Face I.D. disabled unless you employ micro-soldering to transfer the flood illuminator to a new flex cable. I have been searching for an answer about this on the iPhone 13 series....
Chosen Solution When trying to turn on my DSi XL both screens turn on, (sometimes it even shows the health and safety screen) but then immediately shuts down. This happens even after charging. After charging it and trying to power it on without the charger in it gets into the main menu or the DSi but then dies, in never gets that far with the charger inside. Chosen Solution engine knocks bad when hot only when trying to go slow like a drive through. put in neutral and give a small rev and it stops. First things first, get it scanned and see what codes come up. Knocking implies bearings, usually big ends and it doesn’t usually go away with a rev. But what you call knocking I may call pinging. So are you saying it sounds like an old diesel with that death rattle they have in the top end....

The iPhone have red water indicators on the screen and after putting 50% ISP on the infrared light and clean the charging port cable the power button some times wouldn’t work and it only works when I press it with the lower volume button....
Chosen Solution I have a Ford Focus Estate, I got cut up at a junction and was unable to show my displeasure in the usual way as the horn stopped working. Any help would be great. Fuse brown, solenoid failed. Check the manual for which number fuse it is and check it first. Also check the wires that go to the horn as they can corrode and break off.
Chosen Solution I have a small apartment sized Haier fridge. Everything was working GREAT until I dropped something behind the fridge. Then my fridge got warm, but the freezer stayed nice and cold. I removed the big tray that fell behind the fridge and still no cold air in the fridge. Thinking this might be a coincidence bc I am noticing a LOT of frost in my freezer which is not normal....
