Chosen Solution i found an old shuffle while digging around a drawer and wanted to try it out, it syncs and is detected by itunes (flashing orange light) but won’t even function by itself I had this exact issue with one I was given by a friend a few years back. The internal voltage of the battery has likely dropped to far and it has gone into “sleep” where it will refuse to accept a charge in order to prevent anything bad from happening (battery swelling/exploding)....

Chosen Solution Hello guys. Friend died and his family gave me his apple stuff. IPhone x, IPhone xs max and macbook. I was able with apple support to remove his icloud from xs and Mac because I have purchase recypes of them. But his family couldn’t find recype from iPhone x. Is there any way to remove it without purchase recype? Not legally, some people say that they can do it for a fee but I haven’t heard of this working from a first person perspective....

Chosen Solution The iPhone 5 in question has water damage. The phone started showing ‘Searching’ and the imei is gone from the ‘about’ section. The phone tried to do an over the wifi ios update and it failed. I didn’t notice the imei was missing at the time and I went to update ios via iTunes and that failed with an error 16. The phone is now stuck on the iTunes connect screen and will not restore in dfu, The iphone cannot be found… (no backup either) I researched the crap out of this and I am seeing people mention changing a baseband IC but not getting into any specifics....

No chime and black screen Try to reset PRAM and SMC. Any water damage? Like stated about do the normal resets. If its water damaged its most likely a board issues. Even without board damage is could be a PCH issue. A PCH problem on a board that came out three years before mobile Intel platforms had PCH....

I replaced the connection cord but it still won’t charge! @franglo , Gloria, A lot of forums feel a factory reset may fix this type of issue, read and follow the steps in the first link below if you would like to try reset, all data not backed up will be lost. If still under warranty, return for repair/replacement/refund. Reset did not work, either the cable or charge port may be damaged....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen and all that fun stuff after i dropped it, but it still won’t respond to touch. i have tried hard resets and removing and reinstalling the screen and it still won’t work. What is wrong with it? Christopher, possibly a bad replacement part. Replace the assembly once more with another new one. It is not uncommon to receive one with a bad digitizer. Of course you made sure all your connectors are properly seated and that the connectors are good, no bend or broken pins....

I know it is not a software problem as I have restored multiple times and have all the best settings for the battery (background refresh, etc). This iPhone had the battery changed in January in an Apple Store as it was eligible for the iPhone 6s battery problem....

First, I would do an overall check. Run the compressor and get a spryer you can fill with soapy water. Then spray some of the water on the tubes, the pressure regulator, and gauges....

Chosen Solution My Sony Xperia S SGPT121 is stuck on the blue flame. When I power it on it shows the Sony Screen, then the Xperia Screen, than the blue flame running from left to right… and this continues for hours. I can force a shut-down by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. I tried the factory reset (Volume-up + Power-on, release Power-on at Sony Screen) but it is not going to the setup screen....

Chosen Solution Electrolux Fridge Freezer 70/30 integrated 54cm stopped cooling. It has lights and touch panel works fine. Starting it it gives sound that motor might be working but after 15s there is a click sound and it stops. It repeats same click sound like relay switching on every 7 min and after15s there is a click sound again and it stops. Booking engineer will take weeks, tempted to order spare parts from Electrolux, but not sure what might be the faulty one?...

Chosen Solution I’m a technician working on a iphone 7 and the front and back camera as well as the flash are not working. When I go to the camera app all I get is a black screen. Could be a ground problem in the ribbon of one of the camera’s. You don’t have a board problem until you have ruled out a parts problem. Peace ChrisP

Chosen Solution Both front power windows stopped working at the same time . Is it a fuse, relay, or switch ? And where is it located ? theretreat7 , Check F28 40 amp fuse engine compartment fuse/relay center. If fuse OK check for power at window switch(key on). If no power check for broken pinched wire harness between driver side door and door opening(dog leg) you will have to unwrap or remove boot covering harness....

As for the charging, you would be just as well off buying any mini USB charging lead like the one linked here and plugging it into any kind of plug socket that uses a USB (or even the PS4 itself)....
