Only you can make the determination with what degree of difficulty you are comfortable with. The display assemblies are different. Can you use a Digitizer from a sprint s5 sport which is sm-860p and replace the cracked screen of a at&t s5 active sm-g870a ?

Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro Retina 15" early 2013, A1398 has no water damage and not been dropped. But the adapter had some non springy connector pins on the magsafe 2 head, with blackened outer two pins on the dc in connector. (I think outer two are ground, not power). Cleaned them up, found no metal debris in connector, magsafe head still hot and intermittent green and orange leds. Coconut battery showed good condition battery....
Chosen Solution hi, i’ve just replaced the shell on my dsi and now it won’t turn on. it seems to charge (charging light comes on), but when i press the power button the blue power light comes on for a second then the dsi turns off. both screens also faintly flash for a second. i’ve tried reseating all my ribbon cables and powering it on without the battery but that didn’t help :( is there anything i can do or is it shot?...

I tried 2 different front cameras and also a different ear piece, but still nothing. How can I get this thing to work??? Are the contacts fully seated correctly? Is the connector to the logic board fully seated/not bent? Already mentioned is the reboot Else, the flex cable may have been damaged, and would require replacing....
Chosen Solution Dear IFixit reader, I have an A1466, Early 2015 MacBook Air, whose LCD assembly was replaced and it still exhibits the same symptoms before replacement. This begs the question, is there a separate inverter board attached to the motherboard, or does one have to replace the whole motherboard to fix the problem? I attempted zapping the PRAM, resetting the SMC, attaching to an external display (which worked), single user mode, open firmware, but all result in the same problem, very dim unreadable display....
Chosen Solution My tv has been switching from regular color to a purple or pink tint every second. I can still see what I’m watching but it’s just pink Joe Rabago it’s a VIZIO which makes it complicated since there are no schematics etc. that are readily available. In general anytime you have pink/purple screen, this can be cause by a failed T-con board as well as failed backlight arrays. Your TV may have a main board that also has the T-con board integrated....

Do you mean the passcode to login to it? If so,you can’t really retrieve it. It’s there for true protection. You should be able to erase and reset it though,starting off fresh. AFAIK I do not see any known “backdoor” or solutions to recover from forgotten password. You can try contacting WD support but I guess they will turn you down and advise you to do a full erase on the drive....
Chosen Solution Tried Thermal paste, changing hard disk and reinstalling system, and at the end I reballed APU (I’m a technician). Trouble NOT resolved …. Shutdown randomly, sometime with error “too many usb connected”… I’m investigating….. crashing in PS4 is due to one of 2 things from my experience. Overheating, or HDD failure. First step, clean dust out of device and apply new thermal paste. If device still crashes, and you have a good HDD laying around, try and install it in device and see if it fixes it....

It could be possible that the current screen wasn’t original and was third party. The other thing is when you connect to the iCopy, press read twice just to make sure it has read the serial number correctly....

However, this laptop came with two available graphics cards: a Radeon HD 6770m, and a Radeon 7850m. If you have the 6770m, you can upgrade to the 7850 model by replacing the entire motherboard. As this is replacing most of the major components along with the card, it could be quite costly, as much as a new PC....
