Chosen Solution I had a white screen issue with my MacBook replaced the LCD cable. I still got white screen problem after replacing the LCD cable - MacBook do work on a external monitor. Anyone have idea what to do about it? Should I do something actively to activate the new cable for some reason it don’t work? Given the fact the external display is working, and replacing the cable didn’t alter anything tells us the internal display logic its self is bad....

Chosen Solution Recently I have come upon an issue where the keyboard keeps attaching and detaching intermittently. I am no stranger to this issue over my 2 years of using this computer. Usually I have to just clean the connectors and it works again. If that doesn’t solve the problem right there, a hard reset (power + volume up held for 30 seconds) usually resolves this. Also I can tell it’s the connectors because moving the laptop around or adjusting the screen pivot usually triggers the issue reliably before I clean it....

Usually you’d fry the rectifier in your charging circuit, the battery may get damaged and the electronics may get fried as well. Check all of your fuses and see what those show. To be more specific we would need to know what it does or does not do....

Chosen Solution Partially damaged the flex cable on the digitizer circled in green. Screen still works, but occasionally would turn off if active edge gesture is squeezed. Would turn back on if unlocked. Fixable? A tear in that spot would most likely not be fixable because it’s so close to the LCD. You’d be better off replacing the screen.

Start by removing the screws from the bottom of the laptop using a PH0 or PH00 size screwdriver (tiny phillips). Use a fingernail or toothpick to separate the bottom casing from the top. Chosen Solution I completed the iPhone 4s battery replacement with help from the iFixit.com repair guide - thanks! The phone is working. The only issue I had during the replacement was losing the bottom screw on the battery connector. I closed it up with the screw missing because the top screw seemed to hold the battery connector in place, plus, no real option. Is there any danger to a user or the device in leaving this screw unreplaced, if anyone knows?...

Chosen Solution MacBook Core Duo 2.0 GHz I have the classic problem of a tip of a headphone plug snapped off in my white a1181 macbook core duo 2ghz audio input jack. I tried a multitude of methods trying to get it out, including paperclips, tiny flathead screw drivers, glue on all sorts of different objects to pull it out, and now it is permanently fastened in there.
