Replaced with a new display assembly, moving the old home button over in the process. Phone boots up fine, digitizer and home button works great, but Touch ID does not function. Chosen Solution I was replacing the left ear hook when I scratched my motherboard with a tiny screwdriver will it need to be replaced or should still work fine ? That’s the best Pic I can take. Scratched coating exposed metal @saintchicky666 looks like you just scratched the coating but did not damage it. I’d suggest you reassemble it and test it out, ultimately it does look ok.
Chosen Solution I dropped my MacBook Pro onto the floor from knee-height. And the problems began… Day 1 The backlight died — I could boot up, but the screen was black. When I switched on, I got 5 seconds of backlight (i.e, on the startup screen) and then nothing.It was also temperamental: horrible slow-churn noise at startup; and I could see by shining a torch that it was sometimes booting into New Computer mode (Select language, etc)....
Chosen Solution I recently cracked my lg stylo 3 screen yesterday and I want to replace it myself. But I seen videos where they take the digitizer out and buy a new screen with a digitizer. Is that really neccasary? I’m not really good with electronics and I want the easy way out . so please let me know if I need to take my digitazer out or if there is a way I can keep it in while taking my glass screen out....
Chosen Solution Does the new iPad Mini with Retina display use the same Digitizer glass as the original iPad Mini? I am a shop in Los Angeles and took one apart today. It is 100% a different glass. Same size and same ic chip, but the glass has a purple hue to it. Very disappointing cause now we have yet another part to take a year to come down in price....

Chosen Solution During my battery removal of iPhone 7 plus there are three pull tabs. 1 came out fine Other two got broken initially and was not able to get them During insertion the black outer coating got torn and some chemical smell is coming out from it. What should I do? Should I tape it and use it ? The black outer coating on batteries are there to keep all of the chemicals that make the batter work INSIDE the battery....

Chosen Solution Since yesterday the 2 TB external hard drive isn’t mounting on my MacBook Pro Retina 2017. I checked Finder Preference and marked ‘show external drives’ however it didn’t worked. Tried to plug-in in different USB ports and checked Disk utility that makes the drive approved blurred. Most Important: I want to access my external hard drive data urgently. Any help is appreciated. Chosen Solution Hi all, looking for some feedback on the light-bleed issue with my 2011 iMac, as you can see in the photos it’s pretty evident. I’ve been quoted $400 (Australian pesos) to replace the LCD panel by a local repair place. This about the same cost to replace the whole machine and, to be honest, I’m not 100% sure a new LCD panel is necessary. At the very least I’d like to be confident in what needs to be done before either getting it fixed or selling for parts....
Chosen Solution I have an older model Kitchenaid Superba and the refrigerator has stopped cooling. The baffle door closes and won’t reopen. I can open it manually, but when the refrigerator gets cool it closes and doesn’t reopen. At first, we were told it was the motherboard so we had it repaired, now we’re being told the compressor may be going bad. I dont see a problem unless the position and sizes are different which is almost highly unlikely. Chosen Solution The biggest limit to the Asus t100 is its internal hard drive, which in my case is only 32 GB and this means I am limited from day one. So I was thinking, can I open the tablet, remove its internal hard drive, and replace it with a fast 128 GB MicroSD instead? I’m no technician but I don’t see why that’s not a great idea ;)! P.S. Why not multiple MicroSDs?...
Chosen Solution I have tried 3 USB 3.0 to MSATA external SSDs. None will allow me to format them (8TB & 16TB). I formated one of the 16TB on a PC but when I connected to my early 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina it first saw the external SSD, but then was lost and cannot write to it. Is the MacBook Pro (A1502) compatible with external MSATA SSD drives? If not, is there anything I can do so that my MacBook Pro can read and write to these drives?...
Chosen Solution I just bought brand new philips 100 mini lights. I bought 8 boxes and tested each box before putting them on the tree. The box states I can connect up to 11 sets. However, when I plugged in the bottom strand only half the tree lit up. Every strand worked before I put them up so why is it now, 20 minutes later, not working? I changed the fuses in the plug (though it worked before but tried) and it did nothing....
