Chosen Solution After much research and internal debate, my battery purchase came down to Apple in-Store replacement, OWC or iFixit. I went with iFixit and ordered today. I noticed that there are specific “conditioning” instructions on the OWC site where you charge and fully drain to condition the battery. Will I need to do any of this for my iFixit battery? I looked around here for a video or instructions on conditioning, but I do not see anything....

Chosen Solution My phone was dropped on thanksgiving and the screen cracked. Ifixit has been out of the adhesive strips for a while, so I was wondering if the battery adhesive strips would work with an s7. Chosen Solution After being dropped, my iPhone fails to respond. The drop was bad enough that the mute button broke. At first, I could get the Apple logo after pressing on the home & power button (but it would not reboot). Now, even that doesn’t work! I opened it up and check on all the usual contacts and all appear to be OK. Anyone have any ideas? Apple won’t even look at such an old model - their solution is, of course, buy a new one....

Chosen Solution I got an LG dv582h from a garage sale and I came home discovering it has a broken disc drive, so I’m trying to load movies onto a USB flash drive, but I can’t figure out the dumb formatting of it, I tried using the divx converter program on my laptop but every time i try the program just closes, even if I reinstall the program, the only movie I got working is San Andreas (avi file) yet all my other files no matter if they are avi or mp4 or whatever I can’t get it to work, and the LG website doesn’t give me ALL of the video info that works (like fps, resolution etcetera,) may I ask for the full info so I know what to change in all my movies if you want to try converting it yourself i’d be happy to send you the files....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’m having some issues with my Epson Ecotank 2550, The printer simply won’t take the paper, it just pulls it on the right side. I tried to unplug it for a while, reset the parameters, clean the rubber thingy that grabs the paper, and compressed air to remove dust. Chosen Solution MacPro 5,1 Mid 2012 has fans blowing full blast on startup. SMC reset does not fix the issue. Is there any way of fixing this without going to the Genius Bar? Chosen Solution I have a Whirlpool WRV986FDEM French door style refrigerator that doesn’t get as cold as the set point of 0F. The evaporator fan runs continuously. I opened the back panel of the freezer and found ice buildup, which tells me it’s a defrost problem. I melted all the ice and started up the refrigerator again. Almost all laptops can boot without the internal hard drive, but only to the BIOS - there is nothing else you will be able to do. You cannot boot from an external drive per se, you can have a Windows Installation Medium installed on that drive (but this will only work if there is an internal hard drive - the point of the installation media is to get Windows insalled on that PC) or you can create a Linux Live USB key from which you will be able to boot....

Chosen Solution I upgraded the Charge 3 to the Connect+ firmware. I have connected the Flip 4 and the Charge 3 together and both work fine in Party Mode. Once I try to select Stereo it throws and error saying to move my phone closer and try again and close the app etc. I have done all that. Turned the speakers on and off. Repaired Bluetooth. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but only seems like party mode works....

Chosen Solution i watch all these videos on youtubers fixing phones and organizing their screws on a magnetic pad and i have asked this question before and one person said they just organize their screws on ifixit guides step by step but like for example if i need to unscrew some mother board screws the ones that hold the mother board in place they’re to many of them and i dont really know how i organize them and also what if im un screwing a screw that is in a another screw what do i do then thanks....

Chosen Solution The Screen of my MacBook Pro 1708 from 2017 just turned pink. I got vertical lines all over the screen as you can see in the picture. When it’s nearly closed, you can see it a bit flickering in the normal colors so there it’s not the typical flexgate backlight problem. It’s ike there is a broken LCD Cable.
