Chosen Solution Can’t send it receive faxes Fax issues typically boil down to connectivity. Get a good quality phone cable, get it straight between the printer and the wall, check for a CLEAN dial-tone, free of static and crackling. Once you get that far, try a test-fax using the scanner bed. Once you have THAT working, then you can move gradually into re-adding your existing hardware into the mix. Reattach that magical 20 year old splitter you have on the wall, see what happens when you test-fax again....

Chosen Solution is it dangerous ? or is it possible This should be possible although you will have to be careful while removing the screen. The best method I have found is to cover the broken glass with packing tape, place a suction cup on top of that, and then pull upwards. Sometimes the adhesive around the edge of the screen securing it to the phone body will fight back a little bit and if you continue to pull you may further crack the screen....

Chosen Solution My controller arm strap came out. How can I reattatch it Alright, here’s how you reattach it: Open up the battery compartment. At the very bottom of the controller, there should be a small hole. You see the little plastic bit on the end of the strap? Pop that into the hole in the controller so that the strap is coming out through the bottom of the controller, put the battery compartment cover back on, and you’re good to go....

Chosen Solution The laptop fell on it’s left side with the power cable attached, which damaged the input jack. The 19V input pin even broke the solder pad on the top side of the board, the opposite side from the CPU and other components. I replaced the DC jack and was able to solder the 19V pin on the component side, but the battery still won’t charge. I think if I add a small wire from the 19V pin to the correct location on the top side it should work....

Chosen Solution I’ve got this ALCATEL 5015A Pixi 3 (5) 3G phone, which was dropped in something wet. Don’t ask what, I can only assume it was a shallow puddle. When I take the battery out, and put it back in, the (white) led on the top right corner lights up. When I push the power button I can hear the ’logo jingle’ you get on some phones. After that, I get a regular ’tone’ 15-30 seconds apart....

Chosen Solution Hello, few months ago I broke my screen, part of it worked part of it didn’t and I had it replaced. Now that screen is out of guarantee and it suddenly stopped working without any significal damage. Do I need digitizer only? There is no information if it is even possible to replace it without replacing whole LCD. Thanks for your answers! you have to buy a complete screen lcd display + touch digitizer cuz i also broke my screen and i bought only touch digitizer but i couldn’t replace it cuz the display is stick to the digitizer so buy complete screen as i said above :D...

Chosen Solution I have an Element tv that started getting these horizontal black lines across the right side it started with one then slowly there were more and more. Now if you leave it on for about a minute a large portion of the screen begins to flash black and white, then a few more minutes later it takes over more of the screen until the whole thing is flashing (it does it in sets of three takes a half second pause and does it again it a very quick flashing and the clicking goes at the same time as the flashing) unit powers on just fine i dont think it is the capacitors, i looked in it and they all seem fine....

Chosen Solution I was ready to follow your wonderful instructions to put in a new printhead on my 1400, called Epson parts distributor, said they would sell me the part, but because I was not an authorized repair person, the head would not come with a warranty or support. They said they use an instrument to calibrate the voltage , since this print head fits other Epson printers. I called 3 repair stations near me, and they basically gave the same answer....

In order to get it out i applied some great force and eventually it broken…. and now the cable is not able to stay connected and falls off… how to fix that flap? @arpit if you are talking about the “flap” on the cable, there is not much you can do about it. Either replace the RJ45 connector or replace the cable....

Chosen Solution Hi @lrbarrios , Hate to tell you this but the refrigerator does have a defrost heater - part #230 freezer section at least according to the supplier in the link. So it may be worthwhile checking if it is OK. It should test somewhere between 10-50 Ohms. If it tests OK you may have to check that the power is being applied to the heater when the refrigerator is in the defrost cycle....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have a MacBook mid 2012 logic board 820-3024 The fan spins when the power adapter is connected then keeps restarting the fan spin process after about 5-6 seconds. I’m convinced there is a short some where; I have the schematic heat gun multi meter iron etc so am ready to start diagnosing & fixing it. Anybody come across this issue ? Where abouts should I start measuring resistance values etc....

Chosen Solution I have a LG Lfxs24623s that seems to have stopped cooling today. I unplugged it for a about 30 minutes and also replaced the overload relay as I had a new one available. I don’t see any starter relay on my compressor. About 20-30 seconds after plugging it in the fan kicks on. 5 seconds or so after that the compressor turns on. Both have stayed on for hours now and I don’t notice it being much cooler if any....
