Chosen Solution Thanks. I tried the restart you mentioned with the side button and disconnected the main battery. Many times. It does not work. I googled and it seems disconnecting the cmos battery for a few minutes helps. That is why I wanted to try this. How do I fix the error “default boot device missing or boot failed”? This happened to me a bunch after I first got mine. I eventually sent it in to get it fixed, but for a long time I would just… wack my laptop against my knee, or otherwise hit it, until whatever was on the inside (the SSD, I suspect) wiggled back to where it needed to go....

Chosen Solution Today,I tried using my front camera and it didnt work. Like, when I switch from tje main camera to this, it freezes. I tried restarting it, I tried clearing data and cache anr I don’t know what else to do. Did you try a hard reset? You can also try to flash a new rom. If that doenst work we are looking at a hardware problem and you will need to replace the front camera....

Chosen Solution Co worker put IPhone 5s through full cycle with IPhone on. I’ve placed it in rice, should get the screwdrivers to open the phone come Tuesday and i’ll take it apart and place it in rice for another few days. Placing the new battery I’m buying. Any take on if this is salvageable and if the battery doesn’t work, how do I check logic board? Rice does not do anything for your waterlogged phone except let the water sit longer which causes further oxidation....

I didn’t see it immediately, but around 2 weeks later, when I tried to turn it on, I couldn’t : no reaction from the camera, the screen kept off and I had no LED indicator. However, the camera works finely when alimented by USB cable… The problem is not coming from my batterieS : I tested 3 different ones....

Chosen Solution My phone takes me through the update so screen but when I get to the option to accept terms and conditions it doesn’t respond Depending on history of the phone you may have a faulty screen or even faulty touch ic. The only way to confirm this is to try another screen and see if that helps.

Chosen Solution have a True brand treadmill, model 350 HRCB. Purchased in 2002 and still in excellent shape. Drive motor for the tread does not work. Everything else works fine. Had a treadmill service company come out to make the repair. They tested the motor by itself and found that it does work, but the controlling circuit board does not. So the motor will not run. Searching for a replacement board has been unsuccessful from the manufacture or on the outside market....

Chosen Solution My click wheel will not allow me to go back in the menu. The wheel is responsive except for a click on the left side to go back to the previous page, so I am stuck listening to the same album. Is there any way to fix it? Seems like the button which is attached to the board is damaged. The button is soldered to the board and there’s no replacement for the buttons....

Chosen Solution I’m having issues with my headphone jack and want to try replacing it, but can’t seem to find a part specifically for the K550L. Would a jack from another K series be compatible? And if not, where would I find a good replacement? Most of these jacks short out the internal jack pieces to allow for the speakers to work. In other words, inserting a headphone plug will interrupt the normal flow to the speaker and send it to the headphones....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve just changed the battery of this MacBook Pro using the replacement kit for iFixit: MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Touch Bar, Late 2016-2017) Battery All seems ok but in System Information I see 0 at cycle count. Already recharged and discharged two times, reset PRAM and SMC. The counter is still at 0. I’ve read that this can happen with some cheap third party batteries but I would not expect it with one from iFixit....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m having a problem with my MacBook Pro 17” 2011 with faulty GPU. I tried to set the NVRAM variable and delete the AMDRadeaonX3000.kext file, the procedure worked well on my Early 2011 MacBook Pro but it did not work well on the late 2011. When I set the NVRAM variable the late 2011 screen go black and stays black until I reset the PRAM settings (ctrl+cmd+p+r), so cannot disable the dedicated GPU....

Chosen Solution I have a Late 2012 Macbook Pro Retina that just started having a display problem. When I use the computer, the display freezes and flashes to black before coming back on (very similar to what happens when you plug in an external display or TV). It will do this about every 5-10 seconds, but it does not do it at all when an HDMI display is plugged in. The laptop display and external display work perfectly without the freezing and going to black, but the laptop display will begin doing it again as soon as it is disconnected....

Chosen Solution Frigidaire EGZ831AS1 Drying just started acting up. Drying currently empty, Start attempt. Will turn approximately 1/4 rotation, Can hear motor trying but stops. Try again, Unit maybe turns 1/8 to same result. Then eventually will not turn at all but I can hear motor trying. Tub (sorry for not exact terminology) has some give it in it currently on the front. Feel like it might be off balance. Not sure how I would take apart to check as I cannot find a manual for this old girl....
