Chosen Solution My iPod touch 4th Gen digitizer stopped responding to touch completely. I replaced the screen, with a known working screen, and the issue persisted. No big deal, maybe the replacement screen has a faulty digitizer. I then proceeded to try 4 more screens. All resulted in the same… a working LCD and unresponsive touch screen. I’ve tried a hard reset, I’ve restored through iTunes, and I’ve also reset the device with the battery short to the home chassis trick....

Chosen Solution I swapped my HDD for an SSD and in the process of reconnecting the display cable (LVDS?), unbeknownst to me, I skewered the corner of the cable pins on the logic board end when fitting it in - one of the pins snapped off. Tried to fire it up, and it did, but no display (not a backlight issue) and a fast fan. Took it apart and that’s when I noticed the cable was bad… Got a new cable from eBay, replaced it, still no 4th LED or display....

Chosen Solution Hello, my iMac 27in 2011 model started having issues with display. I was looking all over the internet trying to find a solution, but nothing worked or was exactly the same problem as mine. The issue: When I turn the iMac on, everything works fine except the internal screen is black. External screen works fine. When I load into the macOS, and when I change the internal screen resolution (I have to do it multiple times, maybe like 20x switch between two different resolutions), the internal screen turns on and works normally until I turn the computer off, then I have to repeat the whole procedure....

Chosen Solution Replaced the the touch screen and now the phone earpiece no longer work. everything else work but not the ear speaker. A cable might not be connected. any advice. Update I solved my problem like this: It might be stuck in headphone mode a reset to the factory defaults might fix it but BE WARNED: IT MAY ERASE EVERYTHING ON PHONE SO BACK UP BEFORE DOING. THis is not a sure fix so use as a last resort after checking the cable connection, I think cable 2 controls the proxy sensor....

It’s quite simple to replace, just buy a new camera and fit it as you would with a screen replacement. Had a similar issue with a 6S, a front camera flex that appeared perfectly fine, earpiece mic (Siri mic) worked fine, proximity sensor and earpiece speaker were fine, just the front camera not working....

Chosen Solution Hello, I am going to buy a lot of 8 iPod touch 4th gen on eBay. One of them says on a sticker restore error 1603. According to Apple, error 1603 is something to do with the computer. Can someone confirm if this is something to do with the iPod or the computer? Hi, try reinstalling iTunes, than replacing the cable and USB port. If none of this will help, try hard reset....

Chosen Solution I replaced the touch ID ribbon cable not the sensor itself its the original and i still get error 53 any ideas? it’s from finger button , when you change display keep old display because it’s cause … but Y??!!! never one now about it .. your iphone is being error 53 because finger button error,you need fix finger button when you restore iphone.

Chosen Solution I am having an issue installing the front display on the iPhone 4S. The front camera has a clear plastic ring piece and I am not able to get the alignment right to sit over top the front camera housing cleanly. Any suggestions? Thanks. Andre. Put the plastic ring over the camera don’t stick it to the screen it should fit nicely into place over camera My problem is similar except the ring seems to not sit flush but is raised above the surrounding structures and therefore puts pressure against the rear glass with potential to break it

Chosen Solution Is there some way that I’m unaware of? Nearly all of the listings on eBay are for just the motherboard without its accompanying optical drive daughterboard. Are these listings just junk, or is there something I’m missing? The optical drive daughterboard probably comes with the optical drive. I’m not sure if the motherboard would work without the daughterboard, but I’d assume not.

I assume you are speaking about your cable modems WiFi access point (AP) Are you sure you are connecting to the correct AP? Also you need to watch the CasE of yOuR LetTerS for the password....
