Chosen Solution I bought this phone from eBay to try to repair it. I replaced the battery , charging port and the screen. The phone turns on and all I see is a lit black screen. I plugged it into the computer and the computer recognizes it and iTunes says that the phone is in “recovery mode” and it needs to be restored and updated. Chosen Solution Can the internal storage be ncreased? This tablet consumes so much of the storage to operate, it was rediculous for them to sell it with less than 32GB. I added a nemory card and transferred the apps it allowed to be transferred but they get transferred back to internal storage everytime there is an update. FRUSTRATED @nlv no, sorry but there is not. Your external memory is essential an IC that is soldered to the circuit board and can not be replaced (by a usually DIY’er)
Chosen Solution I recently replaced my rear camera on my galaxy s4. After replacing it and re-assembling the phone everything turns on fine. When I try tyo run my camera I get a “camera fail” error and it exits the camera. I assumed it was a bad camera and ordered another. Installed this one same error. Chosen Solution piece in charging port broke off when i pulled out cord - can it be fixed ANG COLE, that port is soldered to the logic board. so you will have to disassemble your Nuvi, remove the board and unsolder the old connector. If you can find it, you will have to purchase a new port and solder it to the board. This guide should at least get you to the board....
