Chosen Solution I’m unable to find a solution to fix the speed issue, even though it seems quite a common problem. The fan is running at over 6500 RPM (more than max), and Macs Fan Control and TG Pro cannot slow it down. Neither program reports any sensors running above normal, they are all below, and because the fan is so fast, the mac is quite cool, but loud. I have reset the SMC, and even tried to re-touch the solder joints on the fan connector, not knowing what the previous owner did....

Chosen Solution So I replaced my 2011 MacBook board with 2010 (cuz of budget), everything running well but I had to disconnect the battery cause of the connector, which made fans unhappy. It’s safe to note that those are 2011 fans, not 2010, but that shouldn’t be a problem. When I power the MacBook on, fans immediately spin up to 100%, and any of the programs I tried (SMC Fan Control, Macs Fan Control, TG Pro) are not reading any temperature and any fans....

Chosen Solution One cell in battery found faulty and changed, but still will not charge and charger now appears to have fault on it. Not sure how to check, have tried testing at outlet terminals for voltage with multimeter and cannot find a voltage reading. Can you assist? I hate this throw away society regards Lithium battery packs and their chargers are rather fickle. Almost all multiple cell battery packs have built-in electronics that check the state of the battery and might inhibit charging if they sense something wrong....

Chosen Solution I went away for the weekend and forgot to switch off my alarm - Philips wake up light HF3520. Since getting back the wake up light has a low level bright white glow that switches off when the light button is pressed but then comes back on again immediately. I’ve tried unplugging, resetting all the settings, nothing seems to work. Any ideas? I also have this problem. Have you guys found a solution?...

Even so not for your exact model, this guide Kodak Easyshare C183 Lens Assembly Replacement will get you to the point that you can remove the center pin that holds the battery door to the frame. Careful since there commonly is a small torsion spring on the hinge pin and the door. Take a good look at how it is seated....

Chosen Solution how do you get ink cartridges lined up to remove,no instruction how to stop cartridges in right position changed the ink jet but the red light wont go off, ?? I have this same issue. my ink is not out, but my print head needs to be cleaned, i cant get the ink out so that i can manually clean the ink head and i dont want to break the printer....

Chosen Solution so my 2006 buick lacrosse cxl was starting then it wouldnt i then untighten the 2 bolts on the clamp that holds the cables to the positive side of the battery made sure they were under more and tighten it back and it started again. I drove about 150 miles after then my car wouldnt start again. my lights radio and all that would come on but it would just rapid click when i would turn the key over tried the cables on the positive side of the battery again and wouldnt start still....

Chosen Solution So, I have a pretty standard eMac that I’ve kept in good condition, no extra work done to it or anything, and I went to turn it on, pressed the power button, heard the regular noise that an eMac makes upon start up, and the screen doesn’t turn on. Chosen Solution Everytime I turn the device on, I get crackling noise on both channels and then within a few seconds, sound generated by the device is only outputting to one channel. I had two accidents with it. Once it dropped on the floor from 4 feet and once I had it plugged into a 240v outlet that wasn’t grounded properly and the outlet shorted while the device was connected. The device is made for 120v but it was plugged into a transformer....

Chosen Solution Replacing the cables after putting in the new battery, there is this warning at step 20: When reconnecting the digitizer cable, do not press the center of the connector. Press one end of the connector, then press the opposite end. Pressing in the center of the connector can bend the component and cause digitizer damage. What does this damage look like? I hooked everything back together for a test and the phone functions BUT: there is a black patch about where the wi-fi, battery charge is shown, and wide grayish vertical streaks on the screen; the screen is also slightly faded....

Chosen Solution I cleaned my screen with 50% rubbing alcohol and this oval appeared in the center of my screen. It appears to be wear from where my thumb would be scrolling. Chosen Solution So I have a MacBook Pro, unibody, early 2011. The machine doesn’t boot up, it just lights the battery indicator five times when pressing the battery indicator button. After some presses, only one light appears to blink (five times again) and then suddenly stops responding. The battery indicator lights are only seen with the MagSafe connected. And the MagSafe light stays green forever. (went orange one time and then returned to green)....

Battery and main board is damaged. If this is the case what is the solution to fix the device. At least I can get valuable data back to pc. From what I remember the screen still works and is usable, it just has meaningful pictures on it. Is there anyway to get them off/ shift key is broken so cant put question mark lol If nothing works I can go into taking the sd or whatever storage it uses and see if that will work...

Hi @danielt61, Hopefully it is only a loose LCD unit flex cable connection or a faulty LCD unit and not a CPU fault. Looking at the service manual for the piano, the LCD unit is connected directly to the main CPU for the piano. (see block diagram in manual). Note: The manual is the correct one for your model....

Chosen Solution I am practicing my iphone repair skills on a 5s locked to a crappy foreign carrier cheap off ebay. I took the screws out, and some of them fell away, so I ordered another packet of screws. But I need two 1.7 millimeter screws in the display connector shield, and none of them exactly match that measurement. Since these are 3rd party screws, I don’t know if they’re milled wrong, or if all screws are maybe a few hundredths of a millimeter off....

Chosen Solution I have a 2015 MBPR 13" with trackpad issues. On the other hand I have a 2014 MBPR 13" with cracked display. My idea is to take both the 2015 logic board along with its 2015 display and install it in/attach it to the 2014 lower case (with its 2014 battery, keyboard, trackpad, speakers etc.) Possible? Unfortunately no, Apple is not that nice. There are little differences where the board sits and other cables connect....
