Chosen Solution After following the battery exchange procedure on my iPhone X (every step worked out fine and easy) the screen does only show a green line (near the bottom) with some red pixels on one spot. But nothing else. The brightness of this green line is changing and the line has some small gaps as well. I opened and closed the display connectors some times without any change. It made no difference if the power came from the new battery or from the plugged charging connector....

Every time I turn it on, the fans slowly go up to maximum speed until Windows or OS X boot, where I can slow the fans down with software (Macs fan control). Chosen Solution My 2001 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t is hard starting when hot or cold and I have to crank over the engine and turn the key off and try again and again before it will start. When it does start it usually idles really low until it finally catches up to normal. Even though it does sound a lot like a Fuel pump/fuel pressure issue. Get your car scanned just in case....

How can I connect a phone display to PC? This is going to require serious hacking. The display connector is proprietary. The signaling protocol is MIPI, however other control signals, power sequence and timing are unknown. You have to find someone who already made this and use his results or get an oscilloscope to probe it out....
Chosen Solution Phone wont restore properly, seems to stop proccess at 90%. Phone will sometimes load to menu screen, but when trying to open any apps ie settings, it will either just look like the button was touched but wont open, or it will open to white screen then crash. Tried restore on 4 computers. Somtimes stops loading on apple logo, then will crashing with glitching moving squares/lines. Would be good if we could post photos or video here!...
