Chosen Solution The frame on my Pixel XL has become bent. Is there any accepted methods to straightening it back out? The bend is bad enough where the display has started to de-laminate from the phone. The safest way to fix a bent enclosure is by completely gutting the phone to avoid damaging the components. Once the enclosure is empty, it is pretty easy to just reshape it with your hands....

There is no limit to re-installs as far as Im aware, other than it can not be activated on more than 1 PC at a time. Unless its OEM, in which case it can only be re-installed on the same machine.You may need to call MS to get activated if you re-install/activate excessively though....

Chosen Solution I’ve got a g5 dual 2.0ghz. I am about to remove one of the processors as apple have indicated that one is faulty. My question is are they inter changeable and can the processor be removed from the heatsink as I want to re apply thermal paste to see if that solves problem, however a couple of sites have warned against separating processor and sink. Use a magnifying glass and a strong light to check the phone’s USB charge port. Check that all the pins are there and that they’re all straight and parallel with each other. Flashing is actually the most common thing to do but bear in mind you’re going to loose the data. You can just do a factory reset which is easy. If you need to flash it, then use the firmware and tutorial as shared above; seems the previous link is broken....

Chosen Solution Hello… I was experiencing problems with battery drain and overheating on a 5s, I was informed the U2 IC was in need of replacement so I thought I would have a go at changing it I replaced the U2 but in doing so I knocked a couple of the nearby caps off (C500, C39), I have managed to replace the C500 but I am now in a bit of a pickle as the right hand side solder pad for the C39 has come off (this was my 1st attempt at IC replacement and I got a bit excited) I am now totally lost as to where to go from here, the phone isn’t booting and is stuck at the Apple logo with bright white screen, I’m unsure as to whether the problem lies with this missing cap or if I have maybe damaged something elsewhere in the process Is there an easy answer here ?...
