Chosen Solution Somewhat of a weird issue. I have a new trackpad that I’m replacing in my A1466. After I replaced the trackpad and hooked up both cables (I used the new cable that was provided that goes into the logic board), the fans spin super fast and the laptop runs slow. Now when I re-install the old trackpad with the same new cables, the fast spinning fan issue goes away and the laptop works as normal....
Chosen Solution I dropped my phone recently and shattered the screen. I purchased iPhone 6 LCD Screen and Digitizer and followed the iPhone 6 Front Panel Assembly Replacement guide to replace the screen. After replacing and turning it on, it seems the front facing camera and the earpiece speaker are no longer working, the proximity sensor seems to be though (the screen automatically gets brighter and dimmer, and if I’m on a call, the screen turns off when I put the phone to my ear)....

It lasted for about a week and started to decline, I decided to switch over to Ethernet so I route a cable from my modem to my computer and hooked it all up. To my surprise nothing occured, no pop ups, no connection....

Chosen Solution Why can’t I hear my phone ring but I can hear my music play There are two separate volumes on your phone. One is for your ringer and the other is for media. Is your mute switch on the side of your phone turned off? Try going into settings>sounds and see if the slider for “Ringer and Alerts” is all the way up. If you turn on the switch for “Change with Buttons” You should be able to adjust your Ringer and Alerts volume with your volume buttons on the left side of your phone as long as music is not playing....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced myself the HD with a new HD in my MacBook Pro mid 2010 13" I now have a Western Digital 5400 RPM, 5V 550mA drive installed I kept having problems with the HD cable, which in fact fails cyclically every 5months. I have came to the conclusion that it must be related to the amperage of the hard drive of choice. in details: My old HD (selected by Apple) had an amperage of 700mA probably the one of choice based on the power used by the machine....
Chosen Solution Hi, so I unplugged my PS4 by the power cable which has resulted in it starting in safe mode with the message “Cannot start the PS4” After looking into this I have followed all the correct steps. My HDD is formatted correctly, the system software file is the correct 1gb one, the folders are the correct format. I get to the option Initialise PS4 and Reinstall System Software, everything looks like it’s working, the process is fairly quick....
Chosen Solution Stuck in limp mode..accelerator does nothing..changed accelerator but same thing You need to find the fault codes and that will give you a idea what you need to physically check. So this has a throttle sensor and you changed it and it didn’t do anything. You need to test each sensor for input voltage and output voltage from the sensor to the ecm/pcm. You could have a mouse that chewed a wire....
Chosen Solution I’ve had this phone for a little over a year and a half, the first week of owning this phone I took it to the “Genius” Bar at a local store, guy looked at my phone and told me it was a bad motherboard and it was over $1,000 to fix it. It was within 90 days so they replaced the phone (Should of been a red flag right then and there), after I got the phone paid off my charging port failed, I’ve taken it to be cleaned, I’ve cleaned it myself, I’ve even used low amounts of nitrogen to blow the port out....

Chosen Solution I have tried for years, this controller only works when plugged in and never works when its not charged with a USB. Paperclip trick doesn’t work. Don’t bother. I have unscrewed everything to try and fix it internally and still nothing. What do? ’ Replace it’s battery, I bet it will fix it bud :) Sounds like a barely functional battery as it works when plugged in, but not unplugged....
Chosen Solution I have a AMD 7 2700x in a msi x570 carbon wifi mobo and for some reason lately the cpu has been showing 100% usage in task manager. I have tried a couple different a/v softwares, driver update programs, roll backs to no avail. I was planning on doing a full format and reinstall but figured would give this a chance first as I have a ton of software that I don’t really feel like reinstalling over the next couple days....
Chosen Solution it is showing a white screen when it is turning on and no change for further Sounds like either moisture damage, a loose or bad lcd or bad board. If you are up to it open up the unit and reseat the LCD back into the ziff clamp and see if that helps. There is a clamp that holds the LCD down and it may have come loose. Try to reseat the LCD, and while you have the LCD disengaged examine the flex cable for damage....
Chosen Solution I just replaced the laser in an old gc, and it’s moving, but the disk isn’t spinning up. Not sure if that was already happening or if it’s a new problem though. What can I try now? Update: took it apart again to check for that solder ball, and now the disc spins, but the laser doesn’t turn on Go back over the connections you disconnected and make sure they are all connected correctly....

Chosen Solution I have a T800 Samsung tab s 10.5 The tablet will work perfectly then screen will go black everything else works just no display sounds and nav buttons light up, only way to get it working again is a battery pull then will boot fine and work for hours or days Thanks for the help any ideas? It may just be that the display cable is lose and needs to be reseated…
Chosen Solution I dropped my phone (NEXUS 5) and now it is not able to find the cellular network. SIM card is working, but my signal strength is at 0. Everything else about the phone works absolutely perfectly, including WIFI, bluetooth, NFC, screen…. Because of this it is unlikely that the motherboard has been affected. I’m just wondering for the nexus 5, what are ALL the parts which are required to allow the radio to work....

Also, there should be some on the bottom side. So you could try to repost a clearer image of both sides of the board/. Since you have it apart already might as well post images of the other boards as well....
Chosen Solution I’ve got a couple of dual processor Quicksilvers with failed or failing CPU fans. I’m doing lots of searching, but there isn’t much around that I can find, and what I have found is usually used. If I’m going to replace it and spend at least $15 on a machine that’s worth < $100, I’d rather have a new fan so I don’t have to do it again before the whole thing dies....
