Wait at least 15 seconds. The SMC reset occurs automatically once the Mac mini has been unplugged from AC power source for several seconds. Plug power cord back in, making sure power button is not being pressed....

Chosen Solution My Samsung Galaxy Tab A fell down the stairs and it was obtusely bent, brutally shattered, and the LCD barely worked. There are random colorful lines when I try to turn it on. I am afraid that the lithean ion battery will explode on me if I try to plug it in (the tablet is dead). @electricnerd ,Ethan, Do not power on or charge the Tablet any more. I will post a couple video link’s to show how the device can be dismantled to access all the damage....

Chosen Solution Hello, Wonder if someone can help. So I replaced an iPhone 6 screen, transferred over the home button and the metal plate behind the LCD that contains the ribbon cable. The home button works fine but the finger print doesn’t. I have hard reset the phone but still the same problem. Any ideas? I’ve seen this two different ways. One, the connector isn’t seated well at the home button, disconnect/reconnect and retry....

Chosen Solution When I startup my computer it beeps then the caps lock key flashes while the screen stays dark. I have tried dissasembling and assembling again. Finally fixed it don’t know how all O did was dissasemble every piece and reaasemble it, except I still have a loud overheating fan even after cleaning it.

Chosen Solution I just got this laptop and and was looking what ribbon cable it needed and it just popped off, I dont know nor have the items needed to solder it back on I dont know if it even needs to be solder is this easily replaceable or do I have to get a new motherboard? Chosen Solution I purchased a JBL Charge 3 off of a friend for $30 and I later noticed that when there low notes coming out, I could hear slight crackling. It only happens when low notes are playing and from bluetooth and aux input. -edit: The noise is very directional. I can only hear it within about 45° of the front. Chosen Solution Initially, the controller wouldn’t charge via the microUSB charging port after a couple months of use. I ordered a replacement charging port (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C8J...), but even after replacing the port, the controller won’t charge. I’ve made sure the cable is good, I’ve reset the controller, etc. Any thoughts? There is a ribbon cable which connects USB port section to main motherboard, which has thick plastic on it. Make it sure that the cable is properly fixed....

Chosen Solution The cracking sound you heard was your LCD breaking. After that point, the screen was lost. In order to get your phone working again you will need to get another screen and replace it. A battery reset is helpful, but no different than a hard reset. A battery reset will not make your screen work again. The pentalobe screw by your charging port has no effect on the functionality of your device and is only there to hold the screen down....

Do you offer a repair service, or only guides to fix it on our own? iFixit is not a repair service itself, it’s a repository for information on how to repair it yourself. And a source for parts. Chosen Solution 98 Isuzu rodeo power window works sometimes, when not working the switch makes a buzzing sound. It’s only the driver side window. All other windows work all the time. Also the power door lock works sometimes and makes a buzzing sound when not working. Replaced the master control switch and the driver side window does the same and now power lock button just makes a clicking sound. What should I try next....
