Chosen Solution Looking to put 8, possibly 16 gbs of ram in the Toshiba C55D-B5206. Toshiba’s website says it is not user upgrade able but doesn’t say why. Are the ram sticks soldered to the board? I don’t believe the RAM is soldered, it appears to have a bios lock and that is what is not allowing the RAM upgrade, perhaps flashing the bios to a newer version may allow you to upgrade the RAM, Crucial shows the machine can be configured up to 16 GB....

Chosen Solution Is there a way do do this? I know there are factory codes you can type in on other Motorola phones that will allow you to do this. The story behind it is that we have a phone a coworker replaced the screen on and now the prox engages immediately on every call and wont turn off. This is happening with both the old and new glass now. Checked components of the board under a scope and all looks clear....

Chosen Solution I haven’t used the machine for a year and the machine has been sitting in the kitchen. What steps should I take to clean the machine before using it again. I’m afraid there may be mold/bacteria inside the machine from the last time I pulled a shot. Descaling the machine and rinsing it well should be all that’s necessary, but heating the machine to steam temp should take care of any bacteria that may have gotten inside the water system (it’s a closed system so it’s unlikely any has)....

Chosen Solution I replaced the display on my iphone 5c, following your guieds on youtube. All went well and without problems, was extra carefull doing it. I turend it on and there is a problem. Touch isnt working well, sometimes it does but most of the time, it is not responsive, sometimes it types letters itself, or more letters that I type. Not sure if I need to change the display screen? Hi @lk1991 , Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop and check what the display is like on it. You can either connect using the vga port or the HDMI port. (even a TV can be used as an external monitor if you have the appropriate HDMI cable to connect the two together) Don’t forget to press the external monitor action key (usually 4th key from the left, top row with rectangle symbol with line either side) to toggle between the laptop screen only, the external monitor only or both screens on together....

Chosen Solution Thank you in advance. My early 2009 Mac Pro desktop has two monitors. The text blocks are erratically blacked out (redacted). It happens primarily in the finder window and on occasion when using chrome. It does not happen in Photoshop CC, Word, Excel or other programs that I am aware of. The attachment in the link shows an extreme case of the problem. There is no problem when I disconnect one of the monitors....

I opened and remove SSD and nothing so I reconnected the battery plug on the motherboard. done. where do you think the problem will be?...
