Chosen Solution My Xbox Elite Series 2 controller does not function at all without being plugged into the usb-c or sitting on its charging dock that it came with. The power button works, the accessories app claims it has a full charge, the firmware is up to date, everything works great then as soon as it’s unplugged, it’s a brick. Chosen Solution Does the crank shaft pulley bolt come off clock wise or counter clock wise ? Megan Caroland , Center crank pulley bolt, counter clock wise to loosen. Chosen Solution How do I disable touchpad on Asus Laptop? Check your Function or “F” keys. One of them should have a graphic of the touch pad with a line through it. Hold down the Fn key and press this one to disable or enable your trackpad. Fn + F9 used to work, but every windows update enables it again. This latest seems to have disabled this combination completely. It’s very annoying and causing me to lose a lot of work....
Chosen Solution We have a GE Profile microwave oven that’s probably 10-15 years old and the panel display has gotten very dim, and almost impossible to read during the day. Is there a brightness control anywhere? Or do we need to replace the display? You have an aging, failing capacitor on the control board. (Capacitors can get old just sitting on the shelf). You can try to find a new control panel which will probably cost about the same as a new machine....

Naturally I had some driver issues, but try as I might, My LAN connection will state “Unidentified Network” and will not connect to the internet. Wifi is working well and connects to the internet. Microsoft Surface Book Teardown On step 13 you can see the keyboard connector, and it has connectors that connect to the board, it isnt soldered. Now as for replacement, good luck. These are a pain to get inside of, especially if your a beginner with no tools. I would contact some repair shops and see if they are able to replace it....
Chosen Solution Hey guys. Just replaced my first one of these & I took extra special care when I got to the home button assembly. I thought all was well but customer has just contacted me its not recognising finger prints. Normally when home button is damaged you get Touch ID not working or failed message but I got none of that client face timed me to show me & they can go into Touch ID & passcode & add fingerprint they even get to the place finger on button part with the blank fingerprint but when they touch it on nothing happens normally you would get the red lines as it adds the fingerprint but they’re getting nothing....
Chosen Solution My amazon fire stick remote wont work at all it was working perfectly well last night I’ve tried holding the home button down for 10 seconds unplugging ,plugging back in ,pressing every other button for 10 seconds and………… nothing it’s as if it’s completely died ???????? I just got off the phone with customer service they had me factory reset the firestick remote by holding the return arrow the menu button and the left side of the move wheel for 15 seconds, then had me unplug my firestick and take out the remote batteries for 1 minute, Plug in my firestick and when it booted up put the batteries back in and push no buttons for a minute, then hold the home button for 20 seconds I saw blue leds when it was successfully paired....

If it works on another device, I would attempt a MagSafe Board replacement. For this model, that’s about as far as I may recommend. Beyond that, I would suggest removing the hard drive and migrating the data....
Chosen Solution I forgot my password and the recovery partition of my laptop is erased. When I power the mac, I press command R and I get an error message 3001f. Sadly you’ll need to visit an Apple Store with a copy of your original sales receipt for them to reset your password.

In the password field, type any random characters and press “Enter.” A “Reset password” option will appear below the password field. Chosen Solution Hello, I bought a Macbook Pro 13 inch Mid 2010 from ebay, and the store claimed that the dvd drive, wifi and power button doesn’t work. I already knew of the power pads so I could care less about the power button. I tried examining the board for any corrosion or signs of liquid damage but haven’t found anything… btw the outer case is perfectly fine. When I removed the logic board to replace the thermal paste because Apple is terrible at applying it, a random chip fell on the table and I cant find where it belongs....

The refrigerator side is still cold. What coating or surface treatment do they use that both bonds to plastic, and provides a surface for a strong adhesive bond to galvanized steel? OK now I have a better idea what your question is. The cover glass is painted with a coat of dense paint so if you’ve damaged it it’s not easy to patch as the shade of black might not match up....
Chosen Solution I’ve followed the instructions to replace the glass screen perfectly, but now the screen doesn’t display anything. I can see the back light is working when I press the power button, but no picture is actually shown. The ipad mini also acts like its working (will lock and unlock and is detected by itunes) I have hard reset and restored the software. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance...

A lot of colors, etc, with the text very faint underneath. I want to fix this!
