Chosen Solution The caps lock buttons blinks 5 times and does not boot. While the caps lock button is blinking the fans are very load and the screen stays black. Note: the laptop does boot sometimes, if I don’t try to power it on for maybe an hour it will boot. When it boots after maybe two minutes I get a blue screen: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. I also can get into BIOS....
Chosen Solution So I have a phone locked the 3 network in the UK. I checked this with apple and with 3, which they both confirmed. However, despite trying a few different sims from 3, I can’t activate the phone, it just keeps telling me that the sim isn’t from a network for the phone. I’ve also tried sims from pretty much every other uk network provider to be sure as well....

Chosen Solution My macbook pro 13” early 2015 has coffee spill on the charging side. I turned it on and took back up. After holding power button for 5-8seconds only it would turn on. It is now very slow. I have windows dual boot installed I am planning to open it and clean it myself. Has anyone done this and did it solve for them?Are the tools shown in iFixit teardown enough for this procedure?...
Chosen Solution The picture on the TV was working fine and then the screen had nothing but colored vertical lines going across it I have unplugged it and held the power button for 5 seconds then plugged it back in and turned it on. No change. Gave it 24 hours of rest and no change. Tried tapping the back of it. No change. I just bought it in February of this year!...
Chosen Solution I was replacing the battery in my iPhone X and all was going well until I, for some bizarre reason decided to connect the battery before connecting the screen back on. Now everything still works fine as usual but my phone feels a lot warmer than usual. Also, when removing the old battery, I couldn’t remove the adhesive strips so I had to pry it out. This resulted in a small part of the wireless charging chip to come off when I got my prying tool under the battery (really messy job I know)....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced a display on my spectre x360 notebook after cracking the old one. It was a hinged up assembly, plug and play so all went well. After powering up I realised the touch inputs were completely inverted in both X and Y axis’. Also the active area of the digitiser was smaller, i.e. 0,0 origin is at the top left corner of screen but the right 2 inches and bottom 1 inch let’s say, of the screen, are not registering any touch/pen inputs....

First I noticed a difference in the saturation and brightness (it became more saturated and darker) and then eventually it got worse and started flickering and some lines were visible. Chosen Solution I have changed my digitizer 3 times since last year, every time I blamed it on cheap replacements and bad adhesive. Now I’m ordering the digitizer replacement from ifixit store. Will the adhesive coming with the digitizer be enough or should I buy polyimide tape too and put it while repairing. Thanks in advance 90% of the time is a bad bending of the flex cable on the Digitizer....
Chosen Solution About a year ago (almost to the day!!!), I had a load of washing that I couldn’t get out of my washer because the door wouldn’t open. Upon investigation I found that the door interlock has burnt out. I’m not sure what the piece is called that connects to the interlock (connector block?), but it was badly burnt and slightly melted, although the 3 metal contacts were still intact....

Chosen Solution I know when you damage the flex cable for the earpiece it will say face id not able to be activeded but now when i try to setup face id i put my face in the camera and it says face not detected any help? Well did you damage the flex cable? If you did well then that’s why it’s not working. But if you didn’t damage it, open it back up and adjust the camera assembly....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone in water, actually it fell in water and i don’t know how long its been in there. I put it in rice but nothing happen. Its been 2 weeks and i thought i should see if it’ll work so i put it on the charger and i heard a vibrate turned it all the way on and saw the bottom button key light up. Right now i’m just playing music from my phone....
Chosen Solution I have a Kitchen aid KRMF706ESS01 refrigerator that stopped working. I replaced the evaporator motor fan in the Fridge and that seemed to turn it back on. a few days later the lights turned off inside, fridge was cold, freezer was not and no ice. I called the Kitchen Aid folks and they sent out a repairman - said my fans were good and he disabled the middle compartment (meats and veggies drawer) said sometimes the wiring goes bad and when it does it shuts every thing down....
