Chosen Solution I have an iphone 6 having difficulty charging, i took the charging port out and placed it back in its slot as i was screwing the charging port in i placed the charger in and the phone was charging ok, i thought i solved the issue and carried on with the other screws and closed the phone, i then took the charger out and placed it back in and it would not charge, i have tried putting another in and the same issue happens....

Chosen Solution First sorry for my not so perfect English. I have a iMac which fell down to the ground, it looks very bad, the display is complete broken. But, the iMac is still working with an external monitor. I removed the broken display, but if I start the system without the display it starts very slowly (the known kernel _start Problem). Chosen Solution All other keys except dot (.) and comma(,) are not functioning. I thought by formatting the laptop will solve the issue but I am stuck as I am unable to use (.) to put in my apple ID. I have erased it completely and was trying to reinstall the OSX 10.7 lion but don’t know what to do? Have you tried using an external keyboard? If it works in the external keyboard, the mechanism below the keys are most likely defect, which is fixed by replacing the entire keyboard....

Chosen Solution Hello fellow fixers, After a fall on hard surface the right bumper was stuck in the pressed position and there was rattling inside.I opened the deck, repaired the bumper as far as I could and am now waiting for the replacement to arrive.I found the little bits that were broken off and rattling but cant identify where they came from as nothing is obviously missing. Chosen Solution After installing a new hard drive, great step by step explanation on ifixit, I installed the OS version 10.4.7 which the computer came with. Than I installed the OS X Leopard and connected with the time machine to restore the backup files. This took multiple hours and this morning I got the message restore complete please reboot. which I did but now after rebooting the gray screen turns to a dark gray screen and the message in a black box appears “Restart computer by holding down the button…” Unfortunately everytime I do this I end up with the same screen....

Chosen Solution I keep getting a windows 10 pop up flashuing a million times. I vant use it. Can i do a restore or reset , or what ,and how? Are you able to access the windows menu? If so, tap restart while holding the shift key. This will get you to the advanced options menu. From there choose troubleshoot > reset this pc > keep files (erases all 3rd party software) or remove everything (starts you from scratch)....

Chosen Solution Brand new fuel pump. Only starts with starting fluid. Idles then shuts off. Press throttle immediately stalls. Service engine light on. Sounds like it’s not getting enough fuel. Could be a blocked fuel filter, EGR valve, mass airflow sensor, bad coil. Could be lots of things. Try pulling any stored codes via a diagnostics tool. Any codes should shed some light. The mass airflow sensor located at or near the induction box....

Chosen Solution So I replaced the battery and it works great except for this one weird issue. The batter works and holds a charge. However, if I leave the laptop unplugged for more than an hour or so, it won’t work when I try to use it unless I plug it in for a few seconds. Once I plug it in, it recognizes that the battery is actually charged (e.g. 83%) and it works like normal....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I was changing the LCD on my 6s when I noticed I have knocked off the silver metal part which holds the Coaxial cable in place for this upper port below… The actual black/copper socket is still connected to the board though, I have used a little glue to hold it in place…Can someone please tell me what this port actually does?
