Chosen Solution Hi guys, thanks for welcoming me to the forum, I’m a long time lurker, first time poster. I am looking for a Samsung Tab A (SM-T550) schematic, specifically for the battery connector on board. My customer has attempted to repair the screen himself and, in the struggle, has torn the battery connector off the board along with a couple of pads. I think that one of these is connected to ground so probably doesn’t matter too much, but there is one that I think should be 5 volts and I need to run a jumper for it....

Chosen Solution I installed the RING DOORBELL Pro. It didn’t work so after investigating the problem I had to install a new Wired Door Bell Transformer in my attic. Wala ! It worked for a week. After a week my doorbell stopped working. After extensive research I learned that my doorbell works fine. It’s the doorbell switch that stopped working. I called customer service and the warranty has expired. I did enjoy it for one week....

Chosen Solution About an inch of the screen not responding to touch. Rest of the screen is fine and there no visible damages to the phone. Please tell me it’s just a cable connector come off loose and I can open and press on these clips to fix it. That might be the case, otherwise you may need to do a full screen replacement. The screen replacement guide on Ifixit.com will show which cables should be connected and if neither of those suggestions work, it’s a motherboard issue, and not cost effective to repair, in my opinion....

Chosen Solution I tried to remove the roller brush to replace the brush strips, but it only comes out about an inch, I can push it back in and rotate it but cannot pull out completely If you removed the endcap to get at the brush, the only thing that would normally keep the roll in is that the brushes do slightly touch the edges of the hole, but not enough to stop you from pulling out the brush roll....

Chosen Solution I will be upgrading the Apple custom blade SSD (SM0256L) in my 2017 21.5” iMac A1418 / EMC 3069. I want to use the existing SM0256L in an external enclosure. What enclosure will work? OWC says they do not have any which will work. Thank you. I don’t have an answer as OWC was the go to for me as well. I’m not sure why they don’t offer support for it....

Chosen Solution My Frigidaire FPSC2277RF, side by side, is making the ice. I can feel it in the tray, but it is not dumping it. So it seems that whatever tells the icemake to dump the ice from the tray, isn’t working. I am looking for a way to manually dump it. Also looking for a part number to replace it. Any ideas? Chosen Solution Mine does the same thing. I unplugged it and defrosted it. When i plugged it back in it seemed to try to get colder but than noticed frost starting to cover the air vents in my freezer again so the fridge isn’t as cold as it should be. Keep having to throw out all my food. Hi, What is the make and model number of the refrigerator? Can you hear if the evaporator fan inside the freezer compartment at the back behind a panel, is running?...

Chosen Solution Hi! My phone has ghost screen also the home and the lock button not working only a few times. Does the Broadcom BCM5976 ic replacing solve all of these issues ? I don’t think replacing the home and/or the lock button would solve those problems or even replacing the screen because I already did those. So what ic’s do I need to replace on this phone ? Chosen Solution My HP printer says there is a carriage jam. I have done everything suggested online to clear the jam and there is no paper jammed inside the printer. I have gone through all of HP’s trouble shooting suggestions. I’m not familiar with this particular model so this is just general advice. It could be that there is a small slip of paper covering one of the sensors it uses to detect the jam....

Chosen Solution A CD got stuck in the player even though it loaded fine and was playing. I managed to extract the CD with sticky tape attached to a shim, but something must be out of alignment now as the player won’t load or eject and I hear a ratcheting noise as it attempts to work. Radio still works fine. Removed the fuse and reinstalled after 20+ mins. but still won’t load....

Chosen Solution My iphone 4 started giving me this error message. Following the instructions given in other questions, I started by cleaning dock. I then replaced battery, no difference. I then replaced dock connector, still same error message. I don’t know what to do next. DANETERRELL3the usual way to dela with that is by 1.try other USB cable,or charger. 2.Replace dock flex connector. 3.Reball/Replace PMIC. Anything after that could be turning into a board level repair, due to failed SMD components, like the diodes....

Chosen Solution So one of my siblings left their putty on top of my phone and the putty was melted when I found it. When I looked closer, the putty was melted into my earbud jack and clogged it. Is there anyway I could clean it out? Do you have a way to re-melt the putty? Have the phone sitting up, so the jack opening is down, melt the putty and let it drain out....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a late 2012 21.5 iMac running the 2.7 Ghz i5. I’m planning on upgrading the CPU. Now, I know it is a lot of work, but I feel comfortable attempting it. I know the i7-3770S (3.1 Ghz, 65W TDP) was an bto option, so it should work (also confirmed in a thread I red here). Do you think the normal i7-3770 (3.4 Ghz, TDP 77W), which is far more common, would also work or does the Mac not boot up when it recognizes a different type of CPU (or TDP) than originally available for the machine ?...

So I plugged into iTunes to update it, and tried to ‘update’ without restoring to see if that will help but alas, was still stuck on bootloop. I then resorted to a full restore, which then has failed again! My phone is still stuck on a bootloop....

Chosen Solution I had to hard reset my Samsung Galaxy J3(6). I powered up the device, and it prompted me for the Google user ID and password that was previously synced to the phone. I can’t recall the password, and I don’t have access to any of the recovery phone numbers or e-mail addresses associated with forgotten password. I’ve tried every possible method to recover the password and nothing works. Basically since nothing has worked for me, Google asked me for my current email address (I gave it to them, and just FYI it’s not a Google/gmail e-mail address) and told me they would contact me at that e-mail address at some point in the future....
