Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve started fixing iPhone 7 recently and have had issues with backlights after replacing screens. It happened multiple times. I’ve made sure the battery is unplugged at any time when I’m working on the board. Do you guys have any more suggestions on how to prevent that damage when repairing iPhone 7. When watching the photos of the Ifixit battery replacement procedure, i recognized that there are different capacites used in the Iphone 5s. Examples: step13 - 1510mah /// step21 - 1560mah. Chosen Solution Hello, i bought used ps4 and noticed that disk eject screw is missing, only little spring is there. Can you tell me which type of screw is there and can i buy that screw somewhere to fix this? Because of that i cant put disc in drive, on the half way in it feels like something is blocking where you able to open up the ps4 to see if it was actually a missing screw and not an object obstructing the disk mechanism ?...

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I had a drive failure on my Mac and learned it had been corrupted via disk utility. After attempting to fix this it now seems there is no startup volume. I tried restoring from my backup but disk utility could not restore from my backup and a pop up notice suggested the drive be erased first. It didn’t appear to work but after starting up again the drive appeared erased....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on my series 3 and the display is acting weird. It displayed the logo for a little bit, and then went blank when I powered it off. I then rebooted it and the display failed to put anything on the screen. While the display was black, it was still registering touch. I re-seated the cables many times. You just need a full casing (body, buttons, shoulder buttons and joysticks), but it ain’t cheap. Mostly because you will need a front housing with a screen if you don’t have one to transfer. But the overall process isn’t complicated. It’s just disassembling the whole console and transferring all parts to the new body....

Chosen Solution When you pull the trigger the drill only runs a short time and stops. Releasing the trigger and re-pulling it does nothing. If you release the trigger and switch direction, then pull the trigger it run but again only for a few seconds. Battery is most likely dead. Try charging it,…….. . Test it using a multimeter. The batteries can go bad and they will no longer accept a charge....

Hi, Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to check if the voice inlet hole, located onthe bottom edge of the phone is blocked with lint etc. DO not use a pin or probe to try and clear it (if blocked) as you may damage the microphone which is behind the hole. Try using a vacuum cleaner to suck out any debris that may be blocking the hole....

Chosen Solution My Wife’s iPhone 4 up and quit a few weeks ago. No signs of life on the charger or in iTunes. The dock connector was pretty corroded so I replaced that and the battery with no results. If I put it in DFU mode , it will show up in iTunes but gives me an error 4005 when trying to restore. I metered the charging fuses on the logic board and they seem OK....

Chosen Solution I have an LG WM3050. I have to drain the water from the drain pump hose after every load, and it drains at least 2 cups. If I don’t drain it, water ends up on floor under machine on next load. I took the washer apart, checked all the hoses, and replaced the drain pump with a new one. Still happening. There is no water left in the tub when load is finished, and clothes aren’t too wet, so I know the water is clearing the tub....

Chosen Solution I hope somebody can help! A while ago, i dropped my phone on a concrete floor which cracked the front and back glass. The glass on the front cracked leaving a small hairline crack on the screen conveniently across the circle on the screen where the dot projector is. Anyways, i used my repair skills and changed the back glass and screen today using all original apple parts (except the back glass obviously)....

Chosen Solution Hopefully someone can figure this out with me. My GE GSH25JFXB model number fridge suddenly stopped cooling correctly. I have at this moment pulled out the back freezer panel and here is my findings. Freezer cool’s and has no ice build up on the coils as I replaced defrost heater a couple of years ago so all is good there. The bottom of the freezer is cold and some cool air makes it over to the fridge area but not enough to keep everything cold....

Chosen Solution Hello, My asus laptop freezes when im playing games especially when it uses Nvidia graphic card. Weird sound comes also when it freezes and there is no way to get rid of this freeze screen it pushes me to use power button to shut down my laptop. Sometimes it gives a warning which is nvidia kernel driver crash but im an engineer of electrical&electronics and im sure that this is not about the driver or software problem....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have few iphones 7+ with no front camera. They have short to ground on PP1V2_NH_NV_DVDD wich is connected straight to main power IC. Is there any way to repair this without replacing the IC? I have never seen that line shorted before. There are a couple of caps between there and the PMU. You could of course remove the filter and jump that voltage if you can find it nearby....
