Chosen Solution My 2017 15” Macbook Pro has developed the lovely strobing/flickering touch bar, just a few months after Applecare ended. Will try seeing if I can talk Apple into a keyboard replacement, but if that fails, does anyone know if just replacing part 821-00480 will solve the issue? Update (09/16/2021) Well, Apple didn’t want to replace the keyboard when I brought it in and now it’s gotten worse so I guess this is just what it’s going to be until the whole computer fails… But if nothing else, it was an excuse to make a video to add to the ever growing collection of them on YouTube… I think mine has higher production values than most :) 2017 MacBook Touch Bar Flicker - In Detail...

Chosen Solution My S8 keeps shutting down inadvertently so I made a factory reset and that did not help tried all the recommendations to no avail. After it shuts down I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and it will restart. Indicating to me the battery is over heating and shuts off. Chosen Solution I have looked around the internet and people have been having the same issues I am running into right now basically as long as the product has been on the market. I am guessing those who don’t have issues are people with smaller heads that don’t end up stretching the headphones. The mechanical design is crap because of the hinge putting unnecessary pressure where the metal meets the plastic and just about every unit will develop cracks and eventually fracture open (mine did this week)....

Chosen Solution Can the 32 GB be upgraded on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active mainboard, does it use a micro SD card? No it doesn’t use/provide for microSD cards. The 32Gb flash memory is PCB mounted in a soldered on ball-grid microchip which possibly could be upgraded to 64 or 128Gb BUT would require expert SMD soldering skills not to mention sourcing a chip supplier. You could try getting a very small OTG to mSD adapter and hiding it in a rugged case....

The jack is soldered to the motherboard, so it will require a bit of work and skill to remove and replace it....

Chosen Solution I had a dead iPod 4th gen 40 GB for years, so when I finally replaced the battery the other day with a new one from iFixit, I was very happy to see the device boot up and still show all the data I stored on it in 2007. It powered up and the battery icon showed minimal power (what the new battery shipped with), and I could play songs and navigate the device....

Chosen Solution I replaced my chromebooks LCD screen and now when I try to power on the chromebook the LED beside the charging port slowly flashes green (green for about 2 secs, off, green for 2 secs, off, etc). I believe the mounting holes on the LCD panel are in different locations, and there is a different connector to the logic board on both screens.

Chosen Solution Accidentally got some water in the headphone jack and charging dock. Phone worked fine but no sound. Almost like the headphones were plugged in. (Plugged headphones in and I could hear again) Did a backup on iCloud and then turned the phone off and put it in rice. Could see that the apple logo was blinking on and off. Next day I checked my phone for any water (I had condensation on the front and back camera) and it was gone....
