Chosen Solution Hi there, sorry for not the very descriptive title. I’m not sure what connector I’m looking at but when I took my logic board out of my case I bent the plastic part surrounding it a bit. Is this connector still salvageable? Also does anyone know what connector this might be? Also I know it’s not the best picture, you can see it better by zooming in. It’s right of the speaker connector....

Chosen Solution I installed High Sierra using the dosdude patcher tool on my late 2008 MacBook Pro 17 inch. Is there anyway I could go back and reinstall El Capitan which was my original OS version. I tried downloading the installer from the App Store, but it said my Mac OSX version is too new. I also tried going into recovery mode, but it showed the circle with diagonal line through it....

Chosen Solution I have a fat 40gb Playstation 3 that I was tasked with fixing. The problem I cant seem to figure out (aside from replacing the drive) is: The disc drive does not engage when a disc is inserted.The Playstation does however, turn on if it is off when I slide a disc in (hitting the trigger switches)If I put a disc in the drive (while the drive is disassembled) and hold down all the trigger’s, the drive does not spin up and the laser does not turn on....

Chosen Solution If my dryer has been off for a while I can use it fine. However, if I try to use it right away after it just finished drying a load, it won’t turn on at all, no errors, just nothing. If I let it sit again for about a half hour, it works again. Is the motor overheating? Or something overheating? Electric dryers have several self protection features to ensure against electrical fire hazards as well as preventing electrocution....

Chosen Solution Hello, good day. I have a pretty old Nintendo DSi system with lots of old memories. Unfortunately, it started to not boot after a couple of years. The bottom screen will flash white while the top stays black and it’ll power off. I tried opening the system up to see what the issue is, but one of the screws on the back accidentally got stripped due to some pieces of the rubber getting stuck in the hole (the right one circled in the image)....

Chosen Solution I have removed email app altogether from my iphone but it still hanging on memory space. see screen shots below I removed all accounts from system and restarted iphone already Deleting the Mail app only frees up the space that the app was using, not the space that your phone is using to store mail. You need to go into Settings -> Mail -> Accounts and delete the email account(s) that you were using....

Chosen Solution Hey, I have a Lenovo ideapad 330 i5 8th Gen laptop running windows 11 Pro version 21H2. Recently I realize it no longer connects via Ethernet, only through wifi. I’ve troubleshooted my router and connect other computers using the same Ethernet cable with no issues, which leads me to think it’s something wrong with the laptop. I’ve done a few troubleshooting like trying to see if a driver needs to be updated but to no success....

Chosen Solution My phone got water damaged after I put it on the sink next to where I was showering, Maybe water vapour got in. After that, both the front and back lens has condensation in it but dried out after 2 days. I went to the apple store and the worker told me that they could not do anything about it as it was water damaged hence not under warranty....

Chosen Solution Apple indicates on their site that the RAM must be replaced with DDR4-2400, can it be replaced with faster RAM such as 2666 or 2800? And if I did so would it actually have any performance improvements over 2400? Faster RAM, when it even works on a Mac, really doesn’t give you any speed bump.

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery, and then after assembling my son’s switch lite, the left sode joystick won’t work right along with volume and the power off button. The ribbon over the battery cable is torn, could that be the issue?

Chosen Solution The camera will not keep the date/time programed. You can set it, but when you shut it down and turn it on it shows the time/date settings screen. Follow the manual’s instructions on changing the date battery.

Chosen Solution I bought this iMac used with a broken CPU fan (Macs Fan Control says 0 RPM) and CPU overheats easily . I bought and installed a used CPU fan off Ebay, but it didn’t fix anything. I’ve already tried resetting SMC. Is it possible for me to tap the CPU fan connector wire into the ODD fan connector or the HDD fan connector? (It’s actually an SSD now.) I’m willing to remove the power from the other fans if you think that 1 socket on the logic board shouldn’t power 2 fans....
