Chosen Solution I have customers Samsung S5 Active that every min would boot loop. After 24 hours I got it to update and did 4 system restores. I used Samsung Kies and Smart switch to try and repair and nothing. It has a brand new battery in it and no damage to the phone. I have noticed tho that if its plugged into a computer it does not restart, Unplugged and plugged into a charger on the wall it restarts....

While one can replace the uppercase assembly Apple P/N 661-02536 for the US version it can be quite costly if its the one that has more than just a keyboard (has the trackpad and battery) which also comes with the assembly ~ $450 USD....
Chosen Solution Hi My iPod which initially was saying it was corrupted. Carried out all the recommended tips toggle hold on off / hold menu / centre for 6 secs. Updated iTunes, have full battery, restore etc etc. BTW connects by firewire not usb. Yet I kept getting 1429 error or can’t restore. I Tried one more restore before opening it up and it said it was successfully restored to factory settings....

The home button is paired to the logic board using a proprietary encryption algorithm that cannot be duplicated by aftermarket manufacturers, so while the home button can be replaced and will work as a home button, the Touch ID function built into it will not work....

Chosen Solution I’m lost here. Replace the screen on this phone a few days ago. Customer complained of ear speaker not functioning. Replaced front camera, flex, and prox. Replaced ear speaker. Both high-quality OEM. Transferred over complete earpiece upper assembly. Including the black tape. Still nothing, what am I missing? I’ve found the proximity sensors to be very delicate, so that would be my first guess. I also found that there’s a little piece of black tape that’s supposed to stay on the proximity sensor and more often than not it seems to have a mind of its own and wanders around....

My 2012 VW Tiguan worked great until on morning in January, when it did not start. I had it towed to the nearest dealership. The timing chain tensioner failed causing the timing chain to skip a step. This caused damage to the cylinder head as well, so that all needed to be replaced for a total of $7,300....
Chosen Solution Fingerprint scanner not working after replacing. Android in-app tells me to go to g.co/pixel/fingerprintunlock which doesn’t exist. Google has a a fingerpint repair tool at https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps but it says my firmware is too new for the tool. Now I have no fingerprint scanner and I used it on all secure apps. I’m having this exact same issue, using the genuine screen replacement from ifixit. I doubt both of us made the exact same mistake, so I think this indicates a problem that Google and ifixit should be investigating more deeply....

Chosen Solution I dropped my psp a while ago and the screen broke. I replaced it recently and…it wasn’t turning on. Eventually I got it to boot but now it only works when I hold it in a certain still position - tilting it sideways freezes the system and shuts it down - and it is quite a pain to get it to turn back on again. Any ideas? could just be a loose connection
