I used my laptop a lenovo flex 15.2 for around one year then suddenly the display turned pink and after a while ghosting appeared too. What can I do to fix it?

Hi, First check the purchase date of your laptop as found on the sales receipt, to verify whether or not it is still covered by the manufacturer’s 12 month warranty. (if you’ve had it from new) If it is still covered (or even just slightly past - it never hurts to ask) follow the directions in the warranty statement that was supplied with the laptop, as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement. If it is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, connect an external monitor to the HDMI port of the laptop and check what its’ display is like. If the display on the external monitor is OK then you have a problem with either the video flex cable or cable connection between the display panel and the motherboard or a problem with the display panel. Here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop. Scroll to p.62 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the LCD display panel. You can use this to check if the video flex cable is seated correctly into the motherboard etc. or to replace the LCD panel if you decide to do so. Scroll to p.83 to view the part number for a replacement LCD panel, (5D10F8607 ). This number may also be printed on the back of your panel so that you can check it is the correct panel, Type the part number only into the search box of your browser to find suppliers of the part. If the display on the external monitor is also not OK then you have a GPU or motherboard problem.
