I dropped my phone this morning and it seemed to be working just fine after. About two hours later when I went to check it the screen was completely black and it wouldn’t turn on. I tried plugging it in, restarting it, everything i could think of….nothing worked. Apparently on my last backup, half of my pictures didn’t save so i am freaking out because ALL of my newborns pictures are on there. Is there anyway to get them off the phone since it won’t turn on at all??

@kkeller112 sorry to tell you but there is no way. Unless your phone turns on and is recognized, you can not retrieve the files. No software will fix this. Try top determine what happened to your phone. Sometimes a new battery will at least start the phone up long enough to create a back up.

I see you said you plugged the phone in, did you try to plug phone via apple cable to iTunes. Does the phone make any sounds or recognized by iTunes?? If the phone is recognized then maybe the LCD is bad and needs to be replaced. If that still doesn’t work the phone may need to be sent in to have the motherboard looked at, Google ipadrehab they may be able to help if the first few opitions don’t work.

There is a couple options for you and the photos I live in SoCal and I’m having a similar problem, while you cannot remove the photos from the phone, you CAN transfer them. I found about this company local called DriveSavers, you can send in the phone and they’ll work on data recovery, from what I’ve heard of they are extremely good, just do a quick Google. https://drivesaversdatarecovery.com/Also you can do another thing, If you’re handy with phones and soldering or know someone who is you can purchase a working Iphone 6s used and all you have to do is remove the logicboard, and transfer the vital components onto a working motherboard in a working phone, ill link a video explaining what to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58-7cg9c
