My MacBook Pro is getting really hot when I juste watch Netflix or browse the web. I have removed all of the dust and replaced the thermal past and its still getting really hot. what do I do? spec 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
I believe that the GPU is starting to fail (It’s a common problem for the 2011 15” & 17” MBPs). You could either replace the GPU (The part is hard to find) or disable the GPU following this procedure: http://dosdude1.com/gpudisable/
