With the gear shift indicator/odometer staying on all the time, this causes a parasitic draw. Is there a relay that controls this function or would it be in the circuit board?

kenwhitlock1 , Check under hood for wire harness excessively wet or corroded around connections and fuse box. If all looks good, from a lot of forums I checked, it could be a problem with the (GEM) Generic Electronic Module. Locate the GEM (link #1) and check it for excess moisture/corrosion/connection also. Test can be ran by a good Technician to check circuits going to GEM to see if it is bad. Link #2 mentions a TSB on a like problem also.Good luck.
