Hello I want to buy a Samsung Gear s2 to use it at gym, so I don’t have to carry my phone with me. I was wondering if I can use it without phone to listen to music. I also want to make sure it has ability to have spotify offline, and connect to bt-headset. I looked up internet, but I think my case is so specific. Thanks

The Gear S2 has bluetooth, so headset should not be a problem. It has a limited 8gb space, so you may be able to store offline spotify songs, depending on how many. The thing to check is the spotify’s support for the Gear S2.

As I know, Samsung Gear 2 doesn’t support Spotify offline. But it is still possible to play Spotify on the Gear 2 watch via importing Spotify MP3 files to the watch. The precondition is to convert Spotify albums to MP3 on your computer or phone.
