I was doing a load of laundry and the washing machine was thrown off balance. So I stopped the machine and tried to rebalance the load. When I went to go start the spin cycle the lid won’t lock. It makes five clicking noises and nothing happens. I put it into diagnostics mode and it says there’s no errors.
Unplug the machine for 5 minutes to allow it to reset. Plug it back in and see if the code persists 5 flashes - Clear code and if problem still exist replace motor.
@cccorliss27 I know that you said you ran a diagnostics test, this is just to make sure that we are all on the same page. Run the test according to the manual. If nothing else you will also want to look at the washer control board on connector J4 to see if there are any issues with the lid switch.
