@trapper1 , Donn, CAUTION Your microwave oven is capable of giving you a serious electrical shock, even when it is unplugged. Your microwave may have a faulty High Voltage Capacitor/ Power Diode/ Magnetron/ etc.. Because a microwave is one of the most dangerous appliances to work on, I recommend you have a good appliance have a look, diagnose and estimate repair.
