I have a GE washer, after I searched online, I found it’s 1999 model, WSKS 2060 WOWH. It had been very loud when spinning but was working OK. Then, it didn’t drain before spin: Water went in, washed (agitated), water went out, water came back, rinse, then stopped. Water should go out then start spin, but didn’t. It stopped there. I reset it, so when water comes in, washes, and at the point after water goes out I stop it get my clothes out. It worked for a while using this method, now this method won’t work. Water comes in, washes, then stops. Asked a used appliance repair guy, he said not worth repairing it. Any thoughts? I live in a small apt.
@jean123 sounds like it’s just not draining. It will have to drain first before it spins. Check your drain, drain pump and check for debris in the drain itself. This is an unusual model and GE in general makes great washers. Post plenty of images so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.
