Chosen Solution

I have a 15 year old GE Profile Arctica SBS model# PSS29NHNA WW. Recently, both cripser drawers started freezing the contents. After several attempts to reset the temperature, the temps will not stay set and fluctuate(fridge 29-33 / freezer -3 to -1). Based on the research, I thought I would start with the temperature sensor/thermistor (WR55X10025). If I am reading the diagram correctly, it looks like there are 5 locations, 2 in the freezer and 3 in the fridge. Should I start with one in particular or replace all 5? Thanks Sherry

The control board then regulates power to the compressor and evaporator fan based on the thermistor readings. If the thermistor is defective, the compressor and evaporator fan may run too frequently. As a result, the refrigerator will be too cool. To determine if the thermistor is defective, test it with a multimeter. The thermistor resistance should change in conjunction with the refrigerator temperature. If the thermistor resistance does not change, or the thermistor does not have continuity, replace the thermistor. However, the control board is very rarely the cause of the problem. Before replacing the control board, first test all of the more commonly defective components.
