Chosen Solution
I have a GE Dishwasher model GDF570SGF0BB that’s barely 4 years old. It has stopped heating and drying dishes. The steam function no longer works either. I tried the obvious things like cleaning all filters and replacing the heating element. When that didn’t fix the problem, I pulled the circuit board out and tested what I could – it was all fine. I will go ahead and replace the board anyway, but if that doesn’t do the trick I will have run out of ideas. Suggestions?
I had the same problem. From all the forums I read, seems to come down to 1 of 3 things: Flood switch, thermostat, or the heating element itself. The flood switch is the easiest to replace since you don’t have to take the whole dishwasher out to replace it. In my case, once I replaced the flood switch, I was back to normal again.
