I have a GBA SP AGS-001 that will not power on. It charges fine with a good battery, but will not power on regardless. When attempting to power on, the green power light flashes for a moment, and then nothing. Any ideas would be appreciated, Thanks!
Hi Liam! With good battery, you mean it’s tested? Or used at a different SP? Alright.. First I advise you to check the ribbon cable if it’s seated as it should. Next, is to check the motherboard if something is damaged or felt off. Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Motherboard Replacement Check the cap, do some measures and check the battery pins. My guess: Motherboard related OR ribbon cable not seated properly (for the DS Lite series, this issue happened if the ribbon cable was loose or not seated as it should. It looks like it’s all good and seated as it should, but it wasn’t..)
