hinge failure caused door opener to fail. Will not move, low humming sound from opener
Unplug the opener before it burns out and repair the hinge.
I assume the failed hinge has been corrected? If this is a standard overhead door, have you checked that the preload springs are intact and still correctly adjusted (professional door tech job if one has broken or come loose). If that checks out, I would disconnect the opener car from the door and see if the door opener car moves without the door attached. You can also check the door for free manual operation once you disconnect the opener from the door. If the opener car still won’t move on it’s track the opener itself may be jammed or broken and could even require replacement.
