So with your Game Gear in the condition it’s in you’re looking around 60-90 bucks on EBay. That’s what I have seen the price range being lately. As for the screen you could go to https://handheldlegend.com/collections/s… and pick up a new LCD screen kit for it and probably be back in business ( I would definitely watch some install videos on YouTube) Having installed a new LCD screen on a Game Gear I can tell you it can be a little fickle.
