Hello I need some pointers about the potential fault of this. Intiially I thought it was a charging port issue open and shut case. Was goign to send it away from a remote re-work expert to resolder a new port onto the device. But I am not sure if that is the culprit. Test all the chargers - while theyre not samsung brand chargers, they are good Anker brand chargers and anker cables. The s10 charges fine from a usb 2.0 port with a USB 2.0 to type C cable. I can also get it to charge with a PD type c to type c charger if I power the phone off, put it on charge and then power up the device. If I try to charge using the PD type c to type c charger while the phone is already on it will give a “incompatible USB accessory warning”. I had these charger and this phone for years, and it worked until one day it didn’t. I’m an amazon delivery driver and use this phone for work so I have been constantly plugging and unplugging this device for many many times in a day. Could this be a battery issue? Any onboard charging module issue? Or a USB type C port issue?
usbc type ports commonly fail, there could be a disconnected data pin on the port causing issues, iit would be easier to diagnose by trying a new port but it must be a genuine replacement part
