I purchased a new Ultra SanDisk 64GB for an upcoming trip. I have formatted the disk, but the LCD on my D80 says “Full” and will not allow me to shoot. If I replace with the current 16 GB disk, everything works OK. What can I do?

There is a good chance the camera doesn’t recognize that large of an SD card. Did you try creating a smaller partition on the card? Nikon may have a firmware update but that’s an older camera so it may not support that large of a memory card.
