I can’t get the front right USB-C port of my late 2016 MBP15 with touch bar to work. Connecting peripherals to the port is not working, and also charging via the port is not working. All other ports, including the back right port, are working. I have been to the Apple Store for analysis and they thought the right USB-C board was faulty. Replacing it would be cheap but would cost >7 days. Therefore I replaced the board myself, to no avail. Nothing changed (on the plus side: I also didn’t break anything). Things I tried: Flipping the cableUsing other USB cablesResetting the SMCResetting the NVRAMFirst aid on the disk (from recovery mode)Testing the port while in recovery mode (to make sure it’s not caused by some weird software)Replacing the ports (this part: MacBook Pro Retina (A1706 & A1707 Late 2016-2017) USB-C Board) Does anyone have another idea I could try? Thanks!

Sadly, this is starting to sound like a bad component on the logic board around the Thunderbolt 3 controller chip

Double check the connector interfaces on the both the port & logic board make sure nothing is damaged.
