After replacing the front panel assembly, the front microphone stopped working. The technician who made the repair and after various tests and using another microphone problem persists. The original phone’s microphone does work when used on another device.It could be due to a software error on my device?
Siri/speakerphone mic is located on the flex cable with the front facing camera & proximity sensor. If you don’t have it lined up on the new screen correctly then it won’t work. There is a tiny hole on the earpiece mesh itself that it has to be perfectly aligned with. I would check this. Common issue with the 6/6+ screen repairs
Does it work on speakerphone? Or in voice memos?
