hey guys, I followed the guide on how to replace the volume control button on my iphone 6. I think things went okay but after putting everything back together, the following two problems came up:

  1. the selfie camera does not turn on. Its just black. the normal camera is fine. I reattached the display data cable, the front camera cable multiple times.
  2. There is no sound coming from the earpiece speaker. The external speaker is fine. Please help. Thanks.

It sounds like the front camera sensor is possibly damaged, which is obviously why your camera isn’t working and your ear speaker as they both connect to each other with the gold pins. You will most likely have to replace it again
