i followed the steps in this guide completely but now my front facing camera and earpiece speakers does not seem to work. what can be the problem here? Update (10/03/2016) Actually, i purchased a new screen for replacement. In the process, i swapped over the home button and home camera. This is a process i have done several times in the past. Im guessing the flex wire broke as i swapped it? but i was being as cautious and gentle as possible, im not sure what may of went wrong or broke as i replaced my screen. not only is the front camera and ear piece not working, i noticed the top right corner gets very hot!
Re-seat the connectors. Make sure they are in correctly. If that doesn’t work, I think you bought a defective replacement part.
What was the reason for replacement? On my last iPhone 6 i needed three flex-cables to get it work properly..
